This mission has two important parts to mention: item management and the boss fight. Re: item management, Aridon is not usable again for quite some time and all the items he ends this mission with will be forfeit. Give anything decent he has to others before the end. Galareth also will not be usable until Act 9, but his items will remain. Rahandir and Saphira will be around in Bloodbath and you can mule items from them to others if you want.
Going the Ironfist base route is tougher, but nets some decent stuff whereas the other route gets you nothing worthwhile. The boss fight is harder than Margazar, but not quite to Rahandir levels. The main issue is all your heroes are pretty fragile, even Galareth. Don't get too distracted with the tentacles, take out the portals, then decide at what point it is worthwhile to stop bothering with any of the summoned enemies and burn down the boss.

Always felt Shar should have kept Charm for Sapphira on this level seeing how squishy the heroes are
I never went the Ironfist base route when playing this map so I missed that Ironbark dialogue which was interesting to see
