in what way undermine, its a fascinating but not feel good history, not about kings and queens and shiny baubles but real people as they lived in the recent past

this is a brand new programme , so it hasn't aged at all yet. In what way is he a false historian, if he is are all the other historians in this entire series also false?@@spigot993

A trouble maker, not to be trusted.I would guess he's subconsciously trying to reach out to his angry antiBritish Nigerian father, who split from his mother.

think its a bit of a stretch to psychoanalyse someone from a collaborative tv programme. In what way a trouble maker and are all the rest of the people involved in making this programme similarly bothered by their fathers, who may or may not be Nigerian or absent?

@@janeblack7880 This bloke is the narrator and my potential theory, admittedly only a theory,is just trying to figure out why he is such a trouble maker.Could it be the money and fame too?He is blatantly politically motivated, not important facts.

He is the narrator, the presenter, the writer and one of the executive producers. What trouble is he actually making? Wouldn't have thought he is that famous@@sherlockbasel1932

Accuracy, objectivity and quality are not Olusoga's strong points. Small wonder he enjoys the patronage of the BBC.

@@MercurialRed9 You appear to have made the assumption that, since I don’t rate Olusoga as a historian, I must be some kind of jingoistic xenophobe, probably racist, possibly fascist
If that’s your idea of fact-based, open-minded, objective, critical thinking, it’s not surprising you are so impressed by Olusoga.

David blocked me on twitter for politely reminding him that he has been totally silent on the genocide in Gaza. Silence is complicity, especially when you have a platform. Why is he not speaking out against Israel's war crimes and the racism and colonialism experienced by Palestinians? Perhaps he values his career more than justice?

The people of the UK have to reconcile their differences and unite as friends and family, for that is who they are. One island, one people, one family of different cultures and nations. Britons are at their best when they are kind, generous, compassionate, considerate and are of service to others. No matter the future, Unity is what will see the British Isles through.
