About 1979 when I was in the army i was in a group that walked from Daintree to Cooktown. In those days there was no road to cape tribulation and just a hippie commune living there lol. The road now was just a walking track that was so unused it would disappear and we had to use map and compass sometimes. I might have to get up there again eventually as it still looks so beautiful. Cheers!
Looks great! We are here now and I think you highlighted it perfectly. It's hard to capture the beauty of this place! We did the solar whisper tour this morning and they were great!
Amazing ! I live in Réunion Island, and some landscapes look like my island. We find some exotic fruits too, like passion fruit but especially thé jackfruit. Thank you for making us travel to your magical country
Hey I bumped into you guys up there i was in a hj75 2h troopy I think it was in cape trib I stopped for a quick chat with yas!! Hope alls well, I ended up spending the next 5 weeks on cape york it was amazing!!
I'm liking this series so far. Lots of places and tips shared. Fantastic episode guys. Looking forward to the next one. 👍 The last time I've been to the Great Barrier Reef, the boat took us 80kms offshore, but it was worth it. ❤
Hi guys, great videos and content. Just wondered if you could tell me what the little fire place frame you have is, I've seen you cooking on it in other videos too? Cheers
many thanks to your excellent trip video, there are lots of crossing creeks during the road trip. is that really need a 4WD vehicle to follow your route to enjoy that area!?
I must admit we are very lucky here in Australia, we have some spectacular scenery and places all in our backyard. These places you are at now look fantastic. The furthest north I have travelled is Yeppoon, but one day I'll get there as the Daintree is on my bucket list. What time of year did you go up there as I was in Gladstone for a few months over summer and it was stinking hot....
Awesome Guys New to your Channel Why i Join Because one of your old video When u said about Do Not need to Have a $100,000 plus Rig I am over some of the overlander Utube Channel So Over board This is More Down to earth for me Anyway do u Have a Video on your Camera gear Set up Take Care & Be Safe
Let me just say how happy and healthy you two look in this video. Even more than normal. Glad to see you're looking after yourselves at the moment. By the way, Matt. The shirt you wore on date night dinner..... please burn that immediately. 🔥 😂 🍻
This ep is so serene. Glad u guys take thing slowly and enjoying the view. We had been to that farm with lot of fruit trees and icecream in Daintree like back in 2012. Love their icecream 😋
Yeah mate if you look at the bottom left corner at 7:56 you’ll see I corrected the Mum comment, you just need to look at little harder. Also GoPros have software called hypersmooth and auto horizon leveling, so it looks like the car drifts all over the place but it’s not.
sorry you just lost me as a subscriber you need to get your facts correct... If you are representing Australia for the world to see.... Cassowary males raise the chicks... so it would of been dad you saw..... just a simple mistake but to a lot of people facts need to be confirmed before teaching the world about them

Thats an awesome story! sounds like an adventure as well. As for the Hippies there are still a few around haha
Love!! How beautiful and ancient is The Daintree, and so much of it completely untouched.

Legends for mentioning Disability access and access as a whole etc. Many over look those elements as ‘able-bodied’ people 🤙🏼 cheers 🍻
No worries hopefully the info helps everyone who watches :)

I think a small SUV would be fine but I’d be cautious in a smaller car.

Your dash cam gives you away as yet another driver who does not understand double white lines. It is the cassowary dad who raises the chicks.
Your comment gives you away as a nitpicking prick who must be a lot of fun at parties.

Yeah so if you look at the bottom left of the screen at exactly 7:56 on the video you’ll see I corrected that. So you can resub 👍🏽 crisis averted.
