- I tested my baitcasting reels the other day. didn't catch anything too awesome but I really enjoyed getting on a few fish with these unusual setups in our waters.

Well done bro nice video as always. I haven't used my bait-casters or conventional reels in a while but I do prefer Spinning reels
Nothing could replace spinning for me, but I'm having fun with the baitcasters. The bait clicker on the conventional is a life saver. I get to multi-task a lot more now.
The age long argument amongst fishermen... they'll still be arguing this 100 years from now. For me a Spinning reel due to its versatility, ease of use, and because I don’t feel like fixing the bird nest trouble on a baitcaster. A common mistake often made is equipping a spinning reel to a baitcasting rod or a baitcasting reel to a spinning rod - there is a difference.
Brilliant comment. I agree totally. I do like the style and feel of the baitcaster though.
@bojangleslive I disagree 110% i recently moved to Grenada for 4 months and I have a $90 Abu maxpro baitcaster on a $35 zebco telescope pole. I know what you’re thinking what in the hill billy set up is that. And I agree, but it works, all depends on what you’re throwing or using as bait
@wesleyminnie1535 So far, even with the occasional backlash, I'm 3 sessions into using my baitcaster, and I'm enjoying it. It takes more focus for sure. Depends on personal style and preference.
@@luremongers8544 I will agree, took me a couple weeks to get the rhythm down. I found wetting my line on the reel helped with casting
Those goggle eyes are great bait, unless you've already ate him, if you ever wanna try something new fly fishing is fun to learn
Yeah dawg
Hey bro, I got him in the freezer so he'll be bait on another day. I have a fly setup but haven't used her yet. Might crack it out soon though. Thanks for watching

Going over to the dark side I see! LOL when I lived in MA I was over an hour from the ocean had a little bait caster to chase bass and pickerel in the ponds. Have a heavy setup I use for boat fishing but haven't gotten out for a bit. I'm a spinner tho, don't think I'll convert.
Hey what happened to the intro?
Working on a new more chilled intro. I was throwing it today, had a flounder follow my shrimp lure. I don't think I'll ever use exclusively baitcasters, though it's a lot of fun.
@@luremongers8544 Hey where you see the flounder? That's one of my bucket list fish. My Mom caught one on South Shore when I was a kid and I wanted to get one.
The night missinon in the vid, is that the long arm in dockyard?
@geo4256 the flounder was at Devonshire Bay. This was kings warf.
@@luremongers8544 Cool Mom got hers across from Tee street. We could do a night mission @ King's Wharf as well....
