ATTENTION: anyone trying this in the US. The 14MM bolt mentioned in the video, I couldn’t figure out. But you can use a (M10-1.25 x 50) bolt that's about 2" long, from Lowes or Home Depot, etc. It worked just like the video, but I had to use an L bracket and washers to remove the piece from the engine with no problem. This video was a great method to remove the Valve. Thumbs Up all the way.
Thank you for the helpful video- on my i10 I used an M10 bolt and was able to screw it in easily with my socket ratchet. I then levered it out easily with a large screwdriver. All just like in your video.
Did you cut threads with Tap and die cutter to screw in bolt or just able to cut thread with Bolt using Socket+Ratchet Wrench to screw bolt ? I tried to cut thread with Bolt using socket+Ratchet wrench combo, but can't cut threads in stuck part. There is not enough torque or force by this method to cut threads into the stuck piece which I believe is hardened metal piece. I saw one guy used Tap+ Die to cut threads and then screwed Bolt and then use rest of same method of using craw bar. I only scared of metal shavings while cutting threads falling inside the engine. What you suggest, any help will be appreciated.
I didnt cut the treads thd bolt, 14 mm 2 uinch bolt and put wbokt washer to easy for crawbar , its hard but it take time sometimes , once you remove it the broken parts, the metal shaving just use blow air on it
@@bordzkiatvlog3729 Thanks, do you mean 14 mm 2 inch bolt self threaded or bite into Stuck piece ? May be since you used impact wrench it may have created enough torque for bolt to bite into Hardened stucked piece. I don't have Impact wrench but have Impact driver. Will try to use it today. As I mentioned before, using Socket-Ratchet wrench I was not able to bite a single thread into that stuck piece. Looks stuck piece have more hardness than bolt and socket-wrench don't give enough torque like impact wrench.
I think when you say 14mm bolt....that you actually mean 14mm bolt "head"...where the tool attaches for removal. The bolt body itself is likely smaller, maybe 10mm......otherwise, good report with good quality pics and video.
7 generation accord 2007 Access is restricted on passenger side of motor .. no ability to use slide hammer as preached by some others if/ when really stuck 2007 Honda Accord hole location is Recessed back !!!! from lip of head by maybe 4 inches +- Hence … Concerned 6 inch plus bolt way wander or require an additional leverage : washer assembly / l bracket to expand purchase area beyond a bolt head 🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘

Gr8 vdo, just bad design of VVT valve, nothing to grab by plier to pull it out straight. Destructive replacement,
