The original MT410 is still the king. True 1/8th scale size, took 1/8th scale electronics and no budget cuts on the components. The original needed no upgrades...it just drive great!
The Original is as you say mind 1/8th scale ! so this being 1/10th surely this makes it top of the pecking order in that category . ive not been lucky enough to own a OG MT410 but ive used one and that was epic ! Stay awesome Chris :)
Thats one reason I dont run too many of the 10th or smaller scale stuff for ground pounding or jumping for me I prefer slightly larger rc's there are times the smaller cars are ideal. Good run you had that was one hell of a tumble right into the wall lol
hey Chris, that Tekno really reminds me of our Corally Sketer, sounds very similar and looks similar running around. Our Sketer is not geared particularly high and runs about 45mph so the Tekno may be quicker. I recenly picked up a Team Associated RC8 B3.1 (also a kit) with HW XR8, 1900kvv 4268 motor,,, was very surprised by the quality of the buggy, no video does it justice and I suspect the Tekno is the same looking at the bashng its taking, Its done more cartwheels then you see at the oLympics gymnastics and it just shrugs if off. Great looking truck
Hey! Funny you mention the Sketer-it does have that same beefy look and attitude as the Tekno. 45mph is no joke, but yeah, the Tekno might have the edge on speed with a bit of gearing tweak! That RC8 B3.1 sounds like a beast with that HW XR8 and 1900kv motor-Team Associated knows how to build quality kits, for sure. And I totally get what you mean, sometimes videos just don’t capture how well these trucks are built. The Tekno's been taking hits like it’s training for the Olympics gymnastics team, and it just keeps going! It’s like these trucks were built for chaos 😂. Appreciate you checking out the video!
Love that truck, little pocket rocket, seriously shifts and looks like it handles really well. That ground would send most rucks flying with the rocks and dips etc.
Man your right the floor is rough in places but thats part of the charm of the ground in old dusty you keeps you on your toes for sure . Cant wait till you come down bud Stay awesome Chris :)
That is a nice running truck bro… I haven’t built a car from the bottom up since I built my 1082 RC-10 way back when I was a kid… I do want to build a kit car but my left hand isn’t the best since the accident so I think not having full use of my left hand it would drive me nuts! I upgrade RTR’s and sometimes I get to where I need some help and that frustrates me… I think I’ll just watch you build them👌🏼
Thanks, bro! I appreciate it! The RC-10 is a classic-building from the ground up is a blast, but I totally understand your hesitation with the injury. It can be frustrating when things don’t go as smoothly as you want, especially with upgrades. No shame in taking a step back and just enjoying the process by watching-I've got plenty of builds coming up! If you ever have questions or need tips, feel free to ask! 👌🏼 Keep enjoying the hobby, and take care of that hand!
Yeah got this down to a T now , Not had chance to mess about with it on my crawler yet ! , As for a FPV camera not used one yet though . Stay awesome Chris :)
Hey buddy , yes unfortunately the tires sometimes do suffer , here in wales we have a lot of areas like this due to the geography and history it was all built on coal tips . Would love to have some softer areas to run ! But you got to roll with what you got hey 🤙
to be honest buddy there very hard in comparison to the wheels i normally use and i find the tread pattern on the DR8 wheels to get bunged up easy . Stay awesome Chris :)
Would you mind stating which 1:10 monster trucks you've tried please? Would be good to know what you're comparing it against. That motor is crazy big, haha!

@@ChriswithaCrc Thanks very much! That's about 3x more cars than I'll ever get to drive in my entire life, lol. Sounds like we no reason to doubt your assessment of the MT410! I'd love one but I have no time or patience to build from scratch.
@@ChriswithaCrc Yea I really like your handset too, wish I had one. Have to put up with my cheap Dumbo for now. Best excuse for being a crap driver is blaming the tools you have to work with and you my friend and shit out of excuses 😂

I like this location👍 Unfortunately, however they are harmful to the tires, I broke 2 of them 😢

Even here in Italy there are similar places, however it is a beautiful place
Looks like it ran pretty well on the DR8 wheels to be fair but you would know better as you have driven with both sets of wheels on.
