Can someone explain to me what The First Descendant is actually about?
I mean, does the game have a story that can be played from start to finish, or is it more of a collection of arena-type maps where the goal is simply to kill all the enemies, collect resources, and repeat it over and over to gain new equipment, etc.?
it has a story, its an open world looter shooter with a story.

Is it known how much you will actually be able to complete by playing for free?
I don't mean to abuse the free status of the game - it's just that "free2play" sounds like "do you want to know how this story ends? buy the episode here" etc. kind of thing, which is just painful to see.
The game looks great, but I'd really love it to be available for purchase as a full-fledged product.
@@theotherguy6263 the entire game is free only battle pass you will pay for but you can also do that for free if you want. as far as i know, everything will be free

Haha not IGN not knowing about the game and getting flamed
IGN and EA are trash companies anyway look at how many great games they ruined and black listing RUclipsrs because we give our honest opinion. If there game sucks I’m not gonna lie and say it’s good. And it’s the same the other way if it’s decent I’m not gonna say it’s trash. I’ll be completely honest with my reviews. EA especially is horrible towards there community look at anthem. That game had great potential
