I wish the Drs that treat me were more like you, they don't fully understand how much it effects our lives I think. It's very scary to all of a sudden start having seizures

I had one last Thursday in home bargains with my grandsons with me. My mum, husband and daughter in law were there. Lasted about 6 minutes according to my family. I didn’t feel well directly before. As in seconds before it happened. The next thing I’m in an ambulance with some amazing paramedics who actually understand FBD. Anxiety was dreadful. I had a dissociative episode. Hate feeling so restricted in life. I am very much a half glass full person but sometimes that is pushed to the limits. Lots of love to you. There are many of us with this awful condition who have to fight to make it better known. It truly depends on the doctor or paramedic. Tbh I am seeing the countries leading specialist in London so I am holding on to some hope and I have a neurologist at my local hospital too. Can’t knock the care. But hate not being able to do simple things like walking my pups alone. Used to use it to clear my head but because of the sudden drop attacks I can no longer do that. Sending hugs ❤

Mine happened showed up after my second dose of pfizer. Otherwise healthy 26 year old male. Normal EEG. Glad I gave myself this debilitating neurological issue and kept the old people who already lived a full life safe.

I developed an inability to walk normally a few weeks after my 1st astrazeneca jab. That was 17 months ago and 6neurologists and numerous tests later have been told that it is a software problem in my brain as all the results have come back clear. The term FND has not been used nor will any of the neurologist I have been to link it to the vaccine. I was a fit and healthy 68 year old and need walking aids now . No seizures but right leg remains semi paralysed.

Ehlers Danlos, syringomyelia, POTS, and MCAD here... Wouldn't this mean my dystonia is not FND?

It’s very scary to hover shake weak. Look for your keys which you put in the frig. When you think you’re ready to go you go back to the car you left your purse inside. Go and grab my purse grab my sunglasses put my purse in the car put my sunglasses on top of the car drive away. And that’s just the first five minutes of trying to get ready to go.
