Woe is me from the 2010s always had the feeling of being heavy for the sake of heavy and never used Hance’s vocals to their full potential. Their new stuff has such a good balance now with more polish from Hance. Unreal stuff
I’ll forever be sad that Tyler and Michael left, but woe is me and issue have both dropped bangers. I guess we got the best of both worlds but original WIM will always be something special in my heart. They were my first favorite hardcore band. I’m glad they came back after such a long time though, this song has been on repeat since release😂

Woe is me was and will forever be the best post hardcore band. When they released their first song, the Kesha cover, and Tyler Carter came out singing it was like “WHO THE FUCK IS THIS”. They set the bar for the post hardcore scene since 2009.

I'm sorry to break it to the enslaved_angel in your chat, but Issues definitely did not walk so Bad Omens could run. When Issues peaked Bad Omens wasn't even around and I go that far and say that, if 2014 Issues was around now with Bad Omens, that Bad Omens would be ones walking. Not saying that Bad Omens is bad, but people need to stop making them gods. Bad Omens didn't invent anything new, where as Issues put a lot of styles together and were definitely the more creative ones.
I don’t think you understand how this phrase works, the idea is that it gives respect to the OG in the style, in this case, Issues
