  • In 1953, Hilti launched the first powder-actuated, high-velocity stud gun for setting studs and nails in concrete, the Hilti Perfix. Since then, it’s been a series of innovations, to a modern portfolio of powder-actuated (DX), gas-powered (GX) and Nuron battery-powered (BX) tools.
Take a look back at nostalgic footage of some of our most iconic tools, pioneered by our direct sales model and hear customer testimonials on the benefits of direct fastening in terms of productivity, safety and sustainability.
But after 70 years of innovation, we’ve only just got started. In 2023, we launched FX 3 Cordless stud fusion, a faster, safer and more consistent method for fastening on steel than traditional welding.

I really appeciate, that Hilti produce DX6/DX76/DX9 in Austria (you can check this on device plate with serial number). Nails like X ENP are made in Lichtenstein and many more like HST3 and HUS anchors. IMO no shame. Hilti is the last company producing quality products almost in or near Swiss
