- Hello there! I'm SOOO excited to be back with a new Akayona Drama CD. This is one of my favorites: Sei arc, part 1!
This video roughly covers chapters 112-118 of the manga because it fast forwards a looot of things. They mainly skip any political explanation or irrelevant stuff. HOWEVER, I must say that I am angry because they skipped a crucial element for Lili's&Yona's character development. Sigh, at least we got to hear them.
As always, my videos are full of personal comments in red boxes. You can ignore them if you want, but please don't, fangirl with me in the comments.

Ok first off because I was shocked - Han dae/Shin ah have the same voice actor as BAKUGOU!?!?
And the squad having so much pride because of Hak trusting them KILLS ME. Like, they know just how much his trust is worth and you can see every single time when it comes up how proud they are that they attained it.
Also, Shin ah being all like "There was a small Hak" and the same small Hak crying over big Hak being alive is JUST SO DAMN CUTE🥺💘
This arc has so many funny scenes "The wind tribe has one hell of a standard for tottering old geezers" is just one tiny part of it LMAO😂😂😂🙏🏼

YESSSS Abi also has the same voice actor, he really be doing 3 characters in the same show HAHAHA AND YES, I am ALL for Hak slowly developing trust in his chosen family, I cry everytime. AND THE LITTLE HAK SCENE IS SO CUTE AAAAAAA I melted. And you're welcome :D Thanks for always commenting 💜
Did you also know that Soowom and Ao (Pukyuu) also has the same voice actor?? And from what i know Hak's voice actor is actually a woman...but Hak's voice is so hot and sexy...unbelievable 😅😅

@@bbgozali Omg what, where did you find that information lol. That I know, Hak's voice actor is Tomoaki Maeno and he's a man. Maybe you saw it in My anime list and I think they confused the voices they gave to Hak & Soo Won as children 😂

I'm really loving these drama CDs. I've watched quite a few from other channels but yours is the greatest and it also shows the translations that aren't shown in the manga. I also love the notes and comments you put 🥰

The Sei Arc is Akatsuki Yona at it's best. This series *gets* how to make a "strong female character" oh how that term is so often misused. We have seen where Yona started from and now we see again how far she has come. Yona' strength works so well partly because it is contrasted by the Dragons and Hak. They are superhuman badasses, Yona is just a regular human.
A 16 year old girl who slaves away for days under the baking sun, *without water.* I'm annoyed the CD cut the moment she fights a guard with nothing but a plank of wood and is then saved by Lili, the aftermath is such a great moment for Lili. Then their escape and Lili carrying Yona when she is injured, and finally leading away pursuit. These are two normal teenage girls, except they are not normal. What sets them apart is willpower and actions not magical powers. What separates them from the Dragons/Hak, is the difference between a superhero and a regular person running into a burning building to save lives.
One is something awe inspiring that we could never possibly be ourselves.
The other dazzles us because it's something we *could* do. But most won't be able to.
EXACTLY. In some way, Yona and Lili are stronger than Hak and the dragons because, just as you said, they're humans. There's nothing special about them, not really, but they fight back HARD. And I love how Hak recognizes her strenght and wants to show Yona to everyone that hurt her in the past. AND YES, I am extremely angry too that they cut off that entire sequence with Yona and Lili and just jumped to their escape without context. Very well put but I don't consider Yona as a completely normal person. She has the power of Hiryuu or the red dragon which is why she is able to make people freeze in their movements with her glare, right? Although the things that you said still stand true regardless since it's not like the superhuman capabilities that the shiryuu and Hak have. This is why this manga is sooo good!

Oh My GOd!! Finally you upload it!! Thank you so much!! This arc is my favourite!! Soowon has really shown how he deserves to be the King...i Love him!! I cannot bring myself to hate him even after he killed Yona's father, i still found myself adore him so much! With the story progress, i falling in love with him more and more! If only yona, hak, and soowon stands together, surely Kouka will become the strongest nation!! 😔😟

im trying to get back into this series bc i stopped watching the show months ago because life got into the way but i really want to continue it bc the story is so interesting. do you have any idea on where i can read the manga?? and if there’s like any ovas or miniseries i need to watch out for ?
Hello there! Of course. I read the manga in a page called Manganelo. The anime itself has 24 chapters, which covers until manga chapter 47 (with some small changes). There are also 3 OVAs. The first one covers Kija's backstory (volume 12 of the manga) and the other 2 cover Zeno's backstory (volume 18 of the manga). I hope you enjoy!
