I'm in Argentina, for those who don't know, it's in the far ass of the world down south. It's currently 4:11 am, summer, and I'm sculpting in zbrush, I work at these hours because it's quiet and everyone else is asleep. No cars, no dogs barking, no noise.
I can't explain to you the size of the dichotomy raging in my head as I give form to monsters in the dead silence of night in the backwoods of a backwoods country while listening to creepy stories brought forth by this soothing voice.
Dr Creepen, I don't know who you are, what you do in your day to day or why you do this, but thank you. I've just found this channel like 3 days ago and it's already the biggest find of this year for me.
I hope you have great holidays and you never ran out of stories to tell; because I will always be here to listen.

The thing I actually really regret is the deprograming I had to go through because of an extremely manipulative and overbearing mother, but not wanting to leave my sick dad with her alone. She would adjust meds on the fly to make him more compliant and it effectively stunted the brain recovery from his brain injury.

I think the black dog actually stopped the kid where he was in order to save the life of the other trucker. Maybe to save both lives. Saved him from being impaled, and he was there to save the other trucker from dying after his accident. That is one smart dog. Had the kid not been there he probably would have bled out, eventually. (I have a black German Shepherd. She keeps me safe from everything. Loved this story!)

It doesn't only happen to truckers either.
My dad and his buddy used to work on telephone poles, which meant that they drove a company van with tools and equipment. One night after working on a pole that was somewhat far away and having a few complications, they were on their way back to dispatch or whatever the place that they get the van is called. My dad was the one driving because he was the least tired out of the two of them, but they were both exhausted. They're about two thirds of the way back at around 1:45 in the morning when my dad sees something poking it's head up over the center median quite a ways away. His buddy had just fallen asleep a couple minutes before hand, as they got about a semi truck's length away, the figure (which my dad described as being a really short humanoid figure with no details other than it's shape and two very large glowing yellow eyes) jumped over the median and walked across the highway while staring at them the whole time. My dad gets on the brakes a bit to slow down as to not hit this thing and he checked his mirrors while doing so to make sure he wasn't brake checking anyone. But when he looked back, there wasn't a trace of the creature. So, after telling himself that it was probably just his brain being tired, he started driving again. About 30 seconds later, his buddy goes "I saw it too".
And that is the story of why my dad never drives on the highway past midnight.

Same and yes I e witnessed some unexplainable phenomena on the road. The weirdest always happens in places that's so far out that probably on less than a tenth of half a percent of Americans will ever step foot on...
Take Craters of the moon in Idaho. As a trucker were bound by the rules of the USDOTs hours of service and I'm naturally a night person so since I can only drive a maximum of 11hrs per day I normally start my day around 6 or 7pm, that way I'll have premium and easy parking whilst everyone else is pulling in..
It was their that I heard it howling in the winds.. you see I love the fresh mountain and country air. Growing up in the cities of the northeastern parts of the U.S I welcomed it every chance I got. So I always rode with the windows down.
I sounded ...this is were it's hard to explain..it sounded alien yet like it belonged I couldn't understand it yet when it spoke its reverberation communicated with my very core....you could feel it enveloping you... permeating your mind as you could do nothing but ride along in shear horror....for the 1st few seconds because after that.....you were wisked away into a feeling that not even the thirst of your best most pleasurable sexual fantasy could slake.
This..presence was speaking to the earth or rather what the native Indians Earth's spirit. ..
Why did it allow me to be privy to such audiences I don't know but what I heard.....well folks ....all life on this orb floating through space time is in imminent danger...
The spirit of the earth that's currently inhabiting it is not it's original....the original owner wants it back...earth indeed is alive and aware, it's like a body part separated from the rest of it's frame....and it wants to merge back with the rest of it's body.
We humans are a tiny fraction of it's conscious, scattered amongst each other to keep its spirit dormant yet fighting to regain control. Every now and then a natural disaster a E.L.E comes along with the hopes of destroying all life so as to "reboot" it's mind so that spirit had a window of opportunity to regain dominance over what's rightfully its own...
So oddly enough to help earth....is to perish and rejoin with it's conscious.
I always awake hours later at a truck stop sleep in my bunk not knowing how I got their but always intact without a scratch on me and everything in order..
The events that happened while driving through Belle Forche S.D and by devil's tower only seems to confirm my claims as this gives the opposite spirits view of things....but that's a story for another time as no one will believe this anyway and as a black man I'm not allowed to believe in these things, at least that's what other African Americans tell me anyway....blessing to you all.

So for all you late night drivers reading this, i have a question for you. Has anyone ever seen a hooded figure with a scythe on the side of the road? More so then that did he bring on a torrent of emotion? Seen it twice in my life, once when i was driving meds to nursing homes on a back road in Ohio around 3am. And a few years after that at the edge of my lawn around 8pm, a days drive from the original spot. When he appeared to me i was in my early 20's and not a good person (to say the least) its like i felt ALL the pain and suffering and hurt i had ever caused all at once and the guilt was unbearable, was in a ball crying on my floor for what seemed like forever.
Been quietly looking for anyone else who has experienced it since that day. More then 10 years later i have only ever met 1 other who has seen him.

That sounds like the grim reaper. I believe it was a warning of a bad death if you chose not to change you ways. I hope you have done so. I was never a terrible person, but I did some bad things when I was young that I came to deeply regret. It has been a very long time since I behaved in a manner to be ashamed of. I have not become a religious fanatic, but I know God is real and allowed me to live through some of the stuff I did so that I could spend the rest of my life doing the right thing and doing good for humans and animals. I have been a much happier person living in the light rather than hiding in the dark. And I know I have done a lot to make other people and a lot of animals happier. Not that I ever mistreated animals, but making life better for those that I can is a big part of my life.

I’ve been a OTR drive for the last 2 1/2 years. I came across something odd while traveling trough the US-95 from Winnemucca, NV to Lewiston, ID. This happened to me twice, once going North and there going South. The first was heading North to Boise, when I saw a white owl on the side of the road. The owl was just standing there. The second was traveling south from Lewiston and there was that owl again on the side of the road. Each time I saw the owl it was late at night and the roads were clear of traffic. The weather had covered the roads with ice and 2 inches of snow. After that I just remember one of the trucker rules. The rule “If you see something you can’t explain/ understand, don’t try to and keep rolling”.

I am a state snow plow driver. It was 2 am and I was spreading salt on a 2 lane highway. I was exhausted from long long hours of trying to clear the roads. It was really cold that night and I knew the salt wouldn't do much until the sun came up so it was busy work to keep us out. Our state didn't give a shit about drive times or fatigue at the time and took full advantage of the exemptions for states and municipalities in the FDOT laws. So I was coming up to a 4 way intersection that featured a graveyard on one corner. I see this shadowy four legged shape run along the inside of the graveyard, jump the wall, and cross the road at the intersection. It was crazy fast and my best guess would put it about a foot taller than a great dane. Right then, I stopped at the traffic light, turned to the left, rather than continuing straight, and went back to the maintenance yard. Ii tossed the keys onto the supervisor's desk and said "I'm seeing shit, Bob. (not his real name) I'm done." I don't know what would have happened had I kept going, and I really don't want to know.

I had an expirience ( sort of ) with the black dog. Headed down a lonely route in Oregon. Runnin on 4 hours of sleep because of delivery deadlines I was TIRED and it didnt help that there was no one on the road. I started to drift off when suddenly my senses became razor sharp and I got the feeling that something close by wanted to harm me. Then i saw an outline of an animal on the side of the road. Thinking it was a deer running I hit the brakes and the lurch of the truck caused me to snap out of it and the animal vanished. Needless to say I pulled off on the shoulder set up warning triangles and went to sleep. Lesson is your life is more valuble than your load.

Hey guys, I know this is off-topic but has anyone of you experienced this glitch on RUclips where the gifs posted by different channels get exchanged? I was weirded out the other day when I saw that Darkness Prevails had posted a gif of Stone Cold Steve Austin and asking everyone to send him their Christmas horror stories. Meanwhile, WWE had posted a gif of a monstrous Santa Claus with an eye protruding out of It's scalp and announcing that it's Stone Cold Steve Austin's birthday, it was pretty hilarious. I'd even commented "Austin 3:16 says I just whooped your a**" on Darkness Prevails' post but quickly deleted it as soon as I realised that it was a glitch, it would've been very awkward if I hadn't.

Apparently the "black dog" event doesn't only happen to truckers either.
My dad and his buddy used to work on telephone poles a few years back, which meant that they drove a company van with tools and equipment.

One of the hardest things about truckers kidnapping and killing people is the fact that they are able to abduct a victim, kill them and then they are able to dispose of the victims body in another state. It’s really hard for investigators to find a body with no ID in a state that may be 100’s or even 1000’s of miles away.
