I am talking about the history of bodybuilding! That's what this channel is about. Why can't I bring light to such topics. Sergio, Robby Robinson, Bill Pearl, Arthur Harris, Melvin Wells...the list goes on and on...crowds booed at the decisions....racism existed in bodybuilding, and it exists now in our society. I wouldn't say it exists in bodybuilding today though. And by the way...It exists in Switzerland too. John Grimek had better shoulder and arms. Nobody cares about abs at that time. I start training in the '80s and I never heard at that times comments about abs or legs.
Sandow had insane ab definition in the 19th century. Plenty of others, too, within the first couple of decades of the 20th century, with overall fairly complete physiques.
The thing is standards were different then too. Grimek had more solid legs and better shoulders and back. He had poor chest developement and less definition. But now blacks are dominating bodybuilding. So its come full circle.

Growing up in South Africa in the 70’s and 80’s we only had white people on the telly. Even as a teenager I remember not being allowed to walk through a White Only subway. That said, I can assure you Whites were not the only racists. My own fellow brown “Cape Malays” and “Cape Coloureds” were very racist too. And Indians brought racism with them from India. Growing up in South Africa in the 70’s and 80’s we only had white people on the telly. Even as a teenager I remember not being allowed to walk through a White Only subway. That said, I can assure you Whites were not the only racists. My own fellow brown “Cape Malays” and “Cape Coloureds” were very racist too. And Indians brought racism with them from India. Racism is a fact and we need to work against it. I support this vid.

Samir Bannout would probably describe himself as a Lebanese Arab or Phoenician and technically speaking Lebanese would be considered Caucasian although many would see him as Mediterranean like Danny Padilla ( Spanish) etc. Mohammed El Makkawy an Egyptian also placed very high at the Olympia and won many contests.
I don't want a chocolate bod..I like my genetics...it got me a Mr USA TITLE. IM no racist. My best friend is black, my wife Hispanic. But I have never wished to be black, tan or anything else just like they feel. I kinda think it a huge contradiction for a black man to say he is proud of his heritage and its applauded but if a white man says the same thing he is a nazi or white supremacist.
