Huh, so that's why I say "rual" instead of "rural." Also appreciate the emphasis on how mispronounciations are perceived. Nice video!

    Latim:
    librum
    librarie
    English:
    Libri (librum)
    Library/libry (librarie).
English is romanic and have romanic roots and foundations it's never a coincidence french's created this in medieval era.

I saw your link, and I saw the film.
Read the book Manners of Language made by Gautier from Doux, Grand Ardennes East France from 1339, central medieval era, this book will help to see the french's foundation of English that I said above.
Nice 👍🙂 read my bro, I like you and like your work.
I'm scientist of communication 'n' linguist too.

The phenomenon of "aks" being stigmatized because of the social status of the people using it is doubly bad because "aks" is a variant that dates back at least to the days of Old English. If history has happened slightly differently, "aks" could have very easily become the standard instead.

    Great content!
Btw, about 1:20 *libry is just as long as libary* ,
I learned in a psycholinguistics class that a slip of the tongue like this happens either because of the following *l* in *libary* (anticipation) or because of the preceding *l* in *libry* (perseveration). Fun to notice what I learned about linguistics in a linguistics video.
