Another great review/analysis, love you work. I hope when Disney’s streaming launches we get Mighty Ducks 4 with Charlie as a man in his early 40’s still wearing his Ducks jersey ( the same one he has now and it’s all torn and far too small for him) he’s still unable to move on from his glory days of pee-wee hockey. He then reunites with his old team mates at Golderberg’s funeral who’s just died of heart failure ( everyone’s there except Fulton who’s in jail for impersonating a child when he was in his 30’s so he could molest young boys) he’s really bitter that Adam Banks went pro and feels he is a traitor for signing for the New York Rangers instead is staying a Duck for life. I’d then have his wife cheat on him with a coach of the Hawks sending him completely crazy thus turning the movie slasher flick where he goes on a “revenge” mission killing all his old team mates for abandoning the team and moving on with their lifes. It’d wrap up his arc that he started in this film nicely.
I think they end up losing a few games after Charlie leaves the team. U can hear Hans listening to the radio and they say something about their record.
