Tango you don't perceive yourself as an expert redstoner (debatable) but you present it in the most fun approachable way. You start out with an idea of what's cool or fun, and then you don't stop until you figure out a way to accomplish it or get close! Coming along for the ride is the best part to me, even when you get frustrated or it fails terribly or it seems like a waste of time. (This doesn't happen nearly as often as you think it does. You're too hard on yourself!) All this to say would love a redstone video from you specifically, especially with you and Impulse. I can watch ANY old basic redstone video, but I don't want to! I think it would be fun to see two friends try to teach another friend what they know, and probably have fun doing it.

If someone told me a year ago that one of The Redstoners (and yes, I perceived Tango that way at the time, having heard about the complex iron farms from a fan who was and still is very into redstone-focused content) would become not only one of my favorite Hermits, but one of my favorite RUclipsrs in general, I don't know if I'd have believed them. But now even on the rare occasions when I can't get at least the gist of what Tango's talking about, I'm still entertained because of the way he presents things and even just the way he talks in general.
A while ago when Impulse was teaching skizz how the kelp farm worked it was so helpful because Skizz asked exactly the same questions I would! I'd love to see some more Skizz redstone lessons so I can learn as well lol
Shulker farms range from pretty easy to pretty complex. The pretty easy ones run for a random limited time until they need to be partially rebuilt with a freshly fetched shulker. The more complex ones will store up a reserve of shulkers and automatically replace ones that die in the farm. You can find a tutorial on the more complex type from an Ilmango video. There are two mistakes in the design as presented. One is the presence of a redstone torch where it shouldn't be, underneath the block leading to the first pulse extender facing away from the snow golems. The video shows two opposite torches on that block, when only the one should be there, as the second prevents detecting a missing shulker. The second mistake is where the outside nether-side rail line goes. The video shows it going to the upper right of the portal, when it should go to the upper left. It's possible the latter will work as if you build precisely on an 8-block border at the right place, making the nether coordinates a precise match, but I haven't tested that notion. It took mine less than a week of 24/7 operation (on a private server with a chunk loader) to fill ten double chests with shulker shells. I don't know the exact rates off hand, but you wouldn't need to buy shulker boxes again. And yes, the most difficult part is retrieving the shulker. The way I do it is to find an end city which is very close to a gateway. Before you do that, you need to prep the area around the end portal. Teleport-proof every block within about 10 blocks of the center of the portal. Buttons are the obvious way. Keep in mind that if you have a wither killer below the portal, you need to button up that room as well, including every part of the mechanism that a shulker can attach to. You want to have all but the bottom-most blocks of the portal's central pillar to be buttoned up. On the overworld side, you want to build a small platform high in the sky at exactly the world spawn. This is where the shulker will appear. Put buttons on most of the surfaces so it can only be where you want it. Once it's there, you'll want to surround it with glass so it can't see anything. You'll eventually pass a mine cart past it to pick it up and move it to where you've built your farm. If it's far from the world spawn, it would be difficult prior to 1.21. Now you can just route it via nether portals on the roof to where it needs to be. To fetch the shulker, go to the city with a nearby gateway and build a rail line to said gateway from a point near the high ground under the city. Grab a shulker in a boat, and move it next to the rail line. Pass a mine cart by and it will pick up the shulker still in the boat. When it passes through the gateway, the shulker will be on the obsidian platform, still in both the boat and the mine cart (as of 1.21). Build a rail line to the return portal and eject the shulker with an activator rail. The shulker will still be in the boat at that point. At that point, break the boat, and the shulker will teleport to one of the available blocks. If you buttoned everything up properly, that will only be the central pillar. At that point, you want to get a piston above the shulker (carpet on the portal surface makes this easier - or you can push one downwards with another piston until it's directly above the shulker), and use that to push the shulker into the portal. A bit time-consuming, but worth it.
The friendship between those two is the absolute best thing to have come from Double Life, and that's saying something. I happened across an old Friday Night Stabby (Among Us) VOD from before the Life Series started, where Jimmy and Martyn joined several of the Hermits. Tango kept saying that he barely knew either of them, even when he and Jimmy pulled off an impressive impostor win together. Would they have gone from that to the good friends they are now, saying such nice things about each other, if it weren't for Double Life linking them together? I doubt it. They played on different servers, lived on different continents, and focused on different aspects of the game.
I taught someone redstone recently just by showing them some basic inputs and outputs and letting them ask questions like "oh, so how would you make it do "? When we came to the subject of strong/weak power, I explained it as "directly" and "indirectly" powered, to avoid confusion with signal strength.

Mrs T... Oddly enough I use a treadmill all the time at the gym... It does not have any straps to hold me in. We DO have a Jacobs Ladder, which uses a strap to engage or disengage a brake attached to a treadmill like rope ladder, but that is an entirely different animal. :P Seriously, proud of ya makin the effort. second year seems the hardest :)

I've seen a short of someone using this technology to drill in minecraft. No need to have a TNT duplicator when you can just flood a hole with silverfish to mine for you
I don't know if this comes up later in the stream, but having powdered snow as the ceiling will reset falling damage if you want to have the rats pre-damaged (or want them to generate webs)
When channels upload, bots will comment on them sadly. Just report them to RUclips for advertising or sexual content, depending on what they are doing. It doesn’t fix the problem in the long run. But it does delete the comments from the video at some point, so others are not clicking on whatever the bots are programmed for.
For future reference When transporting large amounts of unstackable items USE the pouches that are “useless” it will hold 64 of any random assortment of items AKA making unstackables stackable
I’m probably wrong then, or the bundle changed. But I believed bundles would keep 64x stackable items, 16x items that stack to 16 and 1 unstackable item. It would be great if I were wrong.
You're not wrong Questerer... an unstackable item will completely fill a bundle! They are useful for clearing up your inventory when you have like 3 sticks, 2 oak planks etc. in your inventory but they don't work for unstackable items

with the new "minecart-with-entity goes through portals thingiemabob" feature, could you then send a minecart with chest/hopper through a portal? If you could, you could just dispense-fill the bottles in the overworld and send them through the portal (if the chunk is loaded I'd guess)
If you're wanting a minecart to move you back and forth but feel like it'll move too fast, just make the track snake back and forth, that should put you facing each block for at least twice as long. Is that still not enough? Maybe make the track snake by 3 rows.
Hey Tango, Whatever happened to you, etho, bdubs, zedaph and keralis doing the create world? I loved that! Trains all over the place, so many experiments from zed, the factory (ok autocrafter may have killed it a bit) but it was so much more enjoyable. Pls pls pls

most everything in this series is vanilla! a couple utility things that he has to just see information easily are tweakeroo, which a lot of RUclipsrs use to remove not seeing in the dark and add freecam which is effectively spectator mode made less cheaty and more convenient, along with a ton of other features. minihud which allows him to see exact light levels of blocks overlaid on them and allows you to make intangible shapes as guides for things like spawning distance and lots of other features like tweakeroo Bobby mod allows you to see further distances without the computer having to load additional chunks because the mod saves the files of the chunks locally that's the bulk of the mods you'll see used. no added blocks or mechanics to speak of lol

Blocks on top of hoppers disables their intake now I think. Earlier you'd use composters to reduce the lag
