Over 1/2 the state is dry, semi arid, wheat fields & dry forested. The population lives on the wet side west of the Cascade mountains so gets the attention.
@@terisalund3367 wow! Thanks for the info. I live in New Mexico so I'm no stranger to beautiful semi-arid landscapes. Hopefully one day I'll visit Washington. I've been close, traveling through Idaho and I've vacationed in Montana twice.
This place is really amazing during spring runoff. I have stood on the cliff just above the falls on the North side. Not sure if that hike is allowed anymore. Dangerous, lots of loose rock scrambles, rattlesnakes, and you gotta walk along the train tracks for awhile. A few folks have fallen to their death in recent years, almost all due to personal negligence (taking selfies). People are crying for safety measures, fences, barriers and such. Not sure if that has happened yet, but it probably will. Gotta protect us from ourselves unfortunately. This place is highly recommended. Out of the way, not too busy, and stunning. Eastern Washington has some really interesting geology, much of what you see is the result of the Great Missoula Floods at the end of the most recent Ice Age 10,000 years ago.
Mother Nature never stops to surprise us...now, get in action dear reporters and go out to investigate, how on earth water can climb on a top of a mountain so she can fall down...we can find the perfect solution to our electrical power needs, only bringing the water up there and let it fall down, can you realize how genius is our planet? Just willing to observe, learn and take the inspiration, is there under our eyes
Tell me guys how much do you like canyons? I love them so much...I would buy myself every desert on this planet and cut it...coast to coast by canyon and navigation canals, can you imagine what a fun it would be? The abbandoned Route 66 might look like Napa Valley..up there on hills we plant grapes, think about it guys, Mother Earth's never ending beauty is just asking...do as I say buddies, common, let them gorgeous canyons entertain you some more. At least from Las Vegas to Houston...eternally flooded under water, how many centuries do we have to wait untill we decide to do what we have to do? What a wonderful world this could be enjoying environmental projects, there would be jobs for everybody
I was watching the news about the Californian structures on the coasts, the cliffs are crumbling to the sea, what if we ask Chinese investors to build up some artificial islands out there at large as natural barricades against the high tide? Against erosion and against the ocean in rage? If we could be so smart to let Mother Earth give the orders...be there to heal it's wounds as she is asking, can you imagine it? In the meanwhile I have a virtual imaginary donation for you guys. The decibel normalizer. Lately TV shows and movies are used like sonic bombs, the actors are talking so low, you have to guess what on earth are they talking...but then the backround music is so high to blow up your ears and minds...can we have normal sound volume instead? Fighting back villains criminals nasty hackers and cannibal monsters might ...bring us multi billionaire profits guys, we can buy ourselves the desert and transform it on to a Napa Valley...in Australia as well, the biggest one should be the Sahara desert in Africa...bad rumors say, the biggest hurricane clouds are generated there, yeah, what a wonderful world this could be if we would love our planet as we should 😢😢😢
Breathtakingly beautiful! Thanks!
Wow! This is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing this!
I have seen the Palouse Falls during really hot summers when the water was little more than a trickle. This video is how I choose to remember it.
Where are these Falls. I’m from Massachusetts
Eastern Washington
Beautiful and refreshing. I can jump right in there right now!
Thank you for this stunning video.
Beautiful!
I recently found out I live only about 2 hours from Palouse Falls. I’m definitely going there this summer.
You need to get out of your cave more !!

Beautiful! I didn't realize there were desert-y regions of Washington state.

Some TVs have options to do with the sound what you suggest. Check yours' to see if that gives you some relief. Also Roku lets you do the same.
land that was stolen isn’t yours
