- Today I show you guys how big a 10X20 storage unit is! With my Mustang and stock 370Z seats in the storage unit there isn't too much room left. A 10X20 storage unit is a good size if you plan on storing a car and possibly a motorcycle like I do. Anything more then that and you probably won't have enough room.

I strongly suggest you wrap those seats in plastic. Those storage units get very dusty.
I did end up putting some sheets over the seats. There was a lot of dust and other things on the seats lol.
There's no way that's 20 feet. More like 15...

Gonna look into one, there’s a few storage units within a mile from my house, I’m looking into getting a daily and storing my nice car somewhere else because I’m out of room for parking, and street parking isn’t the best idea considering I hear crackheads at night and a busy road next to me
I know the feeling lol. I really enjoy having mine and it is nice to have the privacy!

That is true! It is a pain having to move the seats out of the way every time I want to take the car out haha
@@MattZimm2017 Let me ask you this...is paying $130 (great price for a 10x20, BTW) a month worth it to keep that "extra" car around? What is special to you about the Mustang?
I store a different vehicle in the storage unit in the winter.

Any problems with rodents? I'm considering renting a unit for my car, but these storage facilities are full of mice. This is largely due to extremely careless and thoughtless people who literally dump all manner of things into these units including food and clothes that have not been washed or dry cleaned.
I personally have not had a single problem with mice. I have parked my car in a storage unit for almost 3 years.

Depends on location and the season. If near a major city within 20 miles the cost for a 10x20 with drive up access can be upward of $250 per month.

Unfortunately no
Usually no electric, these places dont want you working on projects in their storage space.

It would fit! It may be a tight fit on the sides but i think it's possible! You could always go for a 10.5X20 as well

Yes you should be able to but you won't be able to fit anything else in there.
Car_venom I know you don't need my opinion, but I would Google the length, width, and yes height. That way you would know. Or you can take a tape measure and measure out the space, mark it, then park your truck to see if it fits. I am watching this video to see if renting a storage unit for my Corolla to do car repairs would work. I am grateful for MattZimm for putting out this video. Hope this unwanted opinion helps.
