I'm worried that mine might be factory defect however it's out of warranty now and the symptoms showed itself too late. Mine doesn't crash on benchmarks and stress tests, it the games that give my GPU a hard time.

Now I have it stable and quiet 1365mhz @ 1050mv! Edit: mine is still in warranty, but they returned it to me with "everything is fine", because all tests pass, lol.

I recently started having issues with my GPU. While playing a game the display goes black and says No Video Input. I thought something inside overheated, opened up the PC, and noticed the GPU was REALLY hot. Tried spinning the fans and one of them has trouble spinning and it also sort of vibrates and makes a weird noise. Not sure if it's a bearing or something else.
@@rickstechrepairs Yes, I think you're right. One of the fans is really sluggish, I kept the PC open and checked if it works at all. It starts spinning slow and stops pretty much immediately once fan stop kicks in. I'll get some replacements and see if that helps. Thank you for your insight!
no worries at all, for a bit of a test and just so more air is blow on the GPU, i was try and mount a case fan just under the GPU, blowing straight at it
I bought this video card on Aliexpress and it came WITHOUT the RGB or ARGB LEDs, I don't know the type and the voltage of the LEDs. I know that the card has a 4-pin socket but it doesn’t say what is the type and the voltage of the LEDs, so I would like better information to buy the led strip and install it. I already asked Gigabyte's support but they are kind of hardheaded and don't tell me that the card does NOT have a led.
I would also like to know if I can put a second NVIDIA video card on the motherboard to be able to have the CUDA's of these cards in my architecture and if it would work, my card has two PCI-e X16, I bought a kinect to use with 3D scanner and software requires NVIDIA graphics card due to CUDA.

regarding RGB, just purchase a ARGB strip from aliexpress and stick it on the GPU. i wouldnt try and get power from the GPU to run the lights 2) im not actually sure on the two gpus from two amd + nvidia if i remeber correctly i think there was driver issues when doing that, but i havent looked at doing that since windows 10
@@admin.ChristianoGaio the thing about leds, its hard to say. Are bios controlled i supose, since this gpus are gaming/mi listed on gigabyte page. The bios are different than the ones with leds and backplate. Btw i have one equal than yours, but for me leds are crap. I was searching a gpu water block :D
So any led strip with 4 pins will work, you need 2 led strips with cables and 4 pin connector, but i think you must not do it, because the power comes from the card, and i dont think that exist a way to control leds, because the bios in this cards is not the same than from gaming ones, this is the info i can give, are max 3 leds per connector, but you can get your gpu destroyed and no bios match with gaming ones.
Hello i have a problem, i replacement thermal pads and thermal paste for maintenance but the degree up to 80-85 and worst moments 89, the thickness is 1.5mm for vrm and 0.5 for memory but degree don't down. ¿what cause could be?
can u help me please? my card did like 70c 72 max, i changed the paste and all that, and its now hitting 80c and fans go over 80% and it sounds like a jet engine, then i took it apart again, make sure every screw is tight, and it kinda does the same... i have no idea what is going on.... its 30c idle, but 80c 100% load.... i dont know what to do... is it possible that my termal paste is crap?
I don't think so. I've got mine an week ago and when I was unboxing I noticed that the screws were very loose, to the point that the termal pads wasn't touching the VRMs and mosfets! so I just tightened the screws, got max temp about 70-72ºC. 80ºC is too much for this graphics card. I recommend to talk with gigabyte.
Could be that you put too much thermal paste. The rule that applies to the CPU, it applies the same to the GPU. Small pea sized drop of thermal compound on the DIE, make sure all the screws are tightened, don't overtighten them too much. Remember that thermal compound takes 2-3 weeks to cure thanks to the heat. If in doubt, reapply the paste.
Holy hell! That thermal paste lol! Way to much on there, you don't need that much, just a this layer across the chip. With that much paste on there you could damage the dies around it.

@@rickstechrepairs Sapphire RX 570/580 Nitro+ also have 2 fans. From my experience, they are usually 10 °C cooler than the Aorus counterpart at full GPU load: • around 60 °C @ 33 % fan on Nitro+ • around 70 °C @ 69 % fan on Aorus I know that's weird because the Aorus is supposed to have a good heat dissipation thanks to the copper piece they placed on the back. Also tried to completely remove the back part of the Aorus, but it makes the temps go up to 90 °C… Moreover, after disassembling and reassembling the Aorus, I'm now around 10 °C higher (~ 80 °C)… Probably I'll need to change the thermal pads.
i would have more thought that the black piece on the back of the PCB would be to stop the GPU from bending due to heat and weight of the cooler, i wouldn't have expected it to make that much of a difference

If you are having problems with temperature, just UNDERVOLT the card, i was having 76 degrees, now i have 69-71°.

sounds like you have a failed fan on the graphics card which is allowing the card to over heat.
Best to replace the fans and replace the thermal paste

Aorus cards are the worst, for cooling. Especially compared to the Sapphire Nitro+.
I wouldn't say worst, I'm personally a fan of the twin fan setup like these ones.

ive seen several temperature values when both cards are stress tested and both run at just over 70C at 100% load in stress testing software.
maybe the aorus outputs more heat for being faster?
