Thank you so much for this footage! My husband and I plan to do this hike this weekend, and it is helpful to see what we are in for! My daughter did this hike and after seeing her incredible photos, we knew we had to do it!
Silly question, but im bringing my younger sister to this hike. She’s never been a climber/hiker so I was thinking if it’s doable to do counter clockwise to avoid the scramble and going down just backtrack to west side entrance? Versus doing the loop
it's very steep up the scree and if you go all the way counter clockwise, you'll have a more technical downhill climb down a rock face. the clockwise route is the best chocie.
Hi, would I be missing out a lot if I do not go to the weather station and go counterclockwise right to the true summit and back? I'm taking some engagement photos and my photographer insists this is easier (in/out) to summit but I don't want to miss out on any views. Are the views at the true summit and ridgeline walking towards it just as nice as those if i were to go clockwise and do a full loop?

Tent Ridge hike is epic! And the scrambling section is entry level of my kind of crazy fun.

Did it take 4.5 hours one way or both way?
It’s a loop
