I saw Elton John and Billy Joel in concert together in the 90s. It was the best concert ever. They ended the concert with both of their pianos on stage, face to face, singing Piano Man together. I still get goose bumps when i hear that song.

Ask about how they collaborate. Ask about their favorite stories. Anything but NY Post rumors. I never liked Jay Leno, but this is really embarrassing for him. Only the beautiful personalities of Sir Reginald and William save the interview. They are working 10 times harder than the guy who is supposed to be the host.
You ppl really need to loosen up. Jay is a COMEDIAN not a 60 Minutes reporter. And it’s his job to act silly, ask irrelevant questions & say things that are off the cuff.
Not only does Billy make great impressions of actors like Brando. He also does artists very well like Elton himself, Bruce Springsteen, Frank Sinatra, Paul McCartney, Ray Charles and even Mick Jagger.
On Family Feud, one of the questions was: When is it a bad time to ask a celebrity for an autograph? In Billy Joel's case, that was a time to ask for an autograph.
During that impression Elton did it made his voice sound like a cross Professor McGonagall from Harry Potter and Spongebob from Spongebon SquarePants and Professor Flitwick .
Max Reger "achieved a kind of fame...he read a review of one of his pieces that outraged him and presently that critic received from Reger the following note "Dear Sir: I am sitting in the smallest room of my house. Your review is before me. Shortly it shall be behind me."
I think Jay was trying to be funny but going a little bit too far with the "gay" cracks. I think that's why Elton John kept saying "I beg your pardon", etc. as if he was mock offended. But it must be kind of a trigger sometimes if you ARE gay knowing how much sh*t he must have gotten about that in his life, maybe in school and probably from his father who apparently he didn't get along with and was pretty narrow-minded. And Billy Joel is just always so cool. Just sitting there completely comfortable with himself and doesn't have to prove anything. I always liked his lyrics... even when he was younger they were full of wisdom about life. Like he's an old soul
