As an addiction counselor I put it that given the situation here the man won't and is not even thinking about quitting drinking. The lady here is being an enabler by 1. paying bills 2. getting him phones. To quit alcohol most people have to hit ROCK BOTTOM to realive they are on their own and begin their sobriety journey.
