My own mum was brainwashed by religion like this mum, She had a good job while our dad was into business,All was well until she joined a strange denomination,She resigned from her job, couldn't visit hospitals,changed her dressing code and soon everything changed,She almost lost her life giving birth to our last born at home surpoted by inexperienced church friends,She went into coma due to over bleeding, Lucky enough our neighbor raised alarm and she was taken to hospital where she stayed close to a month, When she gained her counciousness she refused drugs and medication, Eventually she was discharged,She was strict,She shaved us that plaiting was evil, Our Dad never chased her but she moved out of home,The day she left she wrote a letter,left it on the table and we went to live in that church,The church was someone's home,.They would pray almost always, But the only good thing is she loved education. and she made sure we went to school, She refused to reconcile with our dad always talking about heaven, Eventually dad remarried.Many things happened during that time,I understand this man and divorce is the only solution to this coz this woman can't reason with him
This woman reminds me of my best friend's mum. She was a highschool teacher, (maths/chemistry) single mum who got caught in this religion thing. She begun by resigning from work.
