    I looked this up at the NWS page, and it shows 12 fatalities in AL and 2 in GA from this tornado. A couple hours later, another tornado killed 25 not too far from this one. So there were 37 fatalities in the same area of AL from those two storms.

    Fascinating view of the tornado from the mountain ridge. It’s crazy how so many tornadoes seem to intensify on Sand Mountain. I have been to a tiny portion of Alabama, which happened to be the extreme northeastern part of the state back in 2004. Never knew this is one of the most frequent areas for tornadoes in the United States until I read about it.

    its crazy , about the 1 10 mark til the end of the video, is when this tornado hit my grandparents old house, i am glad they werent alive to go thru it cause my grandaddy used to get offf work from the chicken houses about 4 o clock, so they both would have been home, and surely been sucked up in the sky cause all the houses including theirs is gone!!! concrete slab is all thats left. i used to sit on the bluff where ya'll shot the video and drink beer and lookback toward sand mtn

    I remember lookin' up at that thing... I lived in Alabama at this point and this tornado actually touched down in my backyard. Went out there a couple weeks later and you could see a huge open area with twisted trees and a path headed toward Henegar. Not a fun day... God Bless We Lived.

    No, the Tuscaloosa-Bham tornado occurred a little later, from a thunderstorm on a farther south track. This tornado is a sibling to the Cullman tornado (i.e., the next tornado in sequence from the same thunderstorm).

    • @kenperk9854
      @kenperk9854 4 года назад

      Or was it the sibling of the Cordova EF4?

    • @franciskhoury4288
      @franciskhoury4288 4 года назад +1

      @@kenperk9854 It could be. I'm not sure if this is the "Flat Rock" storm (Cullman sibling) or the "Rainsville" storm (Cordova sibling). Amazing how much violent activity there was that day. My wife has cousins and an uncle in the Scottsboro area. They were kind of just missed on all sides.

      @@franciskhoury4288 This was the Rainsville tornado. The description says 4:47 pm, but this is most likely wrong. There's another video taken from Lookout Mountain in Alabama that shows this exact storm structure and distance from the tornado, and it's the Rainsville storm. This video, specifically, was taken at Cool Street in Mentone, on the west side of Brow Park. The prominent ridge that you see the tornado crossing over in the video is what I believe to be Pea Ridge, which is the somewhat isolated ridge that 671 crosses over after it crosses Alabama Highway 40 (there's also a cellphone tower on top of it that isn't noticeable in the video due to the distance). The tornado took out a HUGE swath of trees on the north & west sides of that ridge. The Flat Rock tornado was much further to the north, and on the complete opposite side of Sand Mountain from this tornado, and would not have appeared to be near the ridges in the foreground, since those ridges are just south of where the Sand Mountain plateau starts, whereas the Flat Rock tornado was on the north side of plateau.
      (The estimated time of this video was probably right in that it was 47 minutes past the hour, but it was more than likely 6:47 pm CDT rather than 4:47 CDT. This makes sense, considering the Rainsville Tornado touched down at 6:19 pm CDT, and this was far along in its track).

    Incredible view. My family had just come up hwy 85 about 9/10 minutes prior to that monster moving right up through there. First video I've seen from this perspective. It almost looks like the entire mesocyclone touched the ground, incredible. Great footage. Curious, but could y'all hear it rumbling from there?

    • @debguffey9346
      @debguffey9346 6 лет назад

      We couldn't hear anything but the wind and First Responder radios that were going off constantly. A call was coming about a person down and CPR was being performed, but trees and debris had all of the roads blocked along with any landmarks blown away. There was no way to assist.

      Deb Guffey I love on county road 102 in Rainsville, and there were two fatalities in a house on Skaggs road where the Tornado had completely wiped the house clean, it even pulled concrete out of the ground there. That road is only about 2-3/4 miles from my place. Kinda scary to know how close it came.

    حقيقة اعصار التورنادوا :
    هو في الاساس رباني ومن غضب الله الجبار
    ومن شدته انه اذا مر على نهر شقه نصفين ورفع قاعه الطيني وذر ترابه في الهواء
    وكذلك يقتلع البنايات والبيوت والاشجار ومن ثم رميها في مكان بعيد مهما كانت ثقيلة وعظيمة
    ويحمل الجسور والقناطر والخزانات الكبيرة ويدور بها وكانها عود ثقاب ويلفها كالمروحة من شدة قوته العنيفة
    ويحمل معه الحيوان والانسان الى عنان السماء ثم يلفظه خارج الغلاف الجوي او الكرة الارضية وكانها عملية تفريغ نحو الفضاء الخارجي
    مما يتسبب بخسائر مادية جسيمة وهائلة تقدر بتريليونات الدولارات
    وهذا غيظ من فيض وهذا بعض ما يجري في امريكا
    قال تعالى ( يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانفُذُوا ۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ )
    وقال تعالى ( ان الذين كذبوا باياتنا واستكبروا عنها لا تفتح لهم ابواب السماء ولا يدخلون الجنة حتى يلج الجمل في سم الخياط ... )
    اوكل الله جل في علاه بكل شئ ملكا :
    فهناك ملك الجبال وملك البحار وملك السحاب وملك الرياح وباستطاعته ان يامرها بما يريد
    ان زلزلوا او احرقوا او دمروا او حطموا او اغرقوا
    فينتقم الله ممن يشاء ولا يستطيع اي مخلوق في هذا الكون منع قضاءه جل وعلا

    ويقال ان صوت الرعد حسبما ورد في الاثر
    انه صوت الملك الذي يزجر به السحاب ويسوقه حيث يشاء بامر الله عز وجل ... والله اعلم
    قال تعالى ( وما تاتيهم من آية من آيات ربهم الا كانوا عنها معرضين )
    وقال تعالى ( فأرسلنا عليهم الطوفان والجراد والقمل والضفادع والدم ... )
    وقال تعالى ( وان يروا كسفا من السماء ساقطا يقولوا سحاب مركوم )
    وقال تعالى ( فلما راوه عارضا مستقبل اوديتهم قالوا هذا عارض ممطرنا بل هو مااستعجلتم به ريح فيها عذاب اليم )
    وقال تعالى ( ولو شئنا لرفعناه بها ولكنه أخلد إلى الأرض واتبع هواه فمثله كمثل الكلب إن تحمل عليه يلهث أو تتركه يلهث ذلك مثل القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا فاقصص القصص لعلهم يتفكرون )
    وقال تعالى ( مثل الذين حملوا التوراة ثم لم يحملوها كمثل الحمار يحمل اسفارا بئس
    مثل القوم الذين كذبوا بآيات الله والله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين )
    وقال تعالى ( قل ياأهل الكتاب لستم على شيء حتى تقيموا التوراة والإنجيل وما أنزل إليكم من ربكم وليزيدن كثيرا منهم ما أنزل إليك من ربك طغيانا وكفرا فلا تأس على القوم الكافرين )
    وقال تعالى ( ذلك بان الله هو الحق وان ما يدعون من دونه هو الباطل وان الله هو العلي الكبير )
    وقال تعالى ( يَـأَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِيراً مِّمَّا كُنتُمْ تُخْفُونَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَعْفُواْ عَن كَثِيرٍ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ مِّنَ اللَّهِ نُورٌ وَكِتَابٌ مُّبِينٌ يَهْدِي بِهِ اللَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَهُ سُبُلَ السَّلامِ وَيُخْرِجُهُمْ مِّنِ
    الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَى صِراطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ )
    وهذا ما سيحدث لامريكا كثيرا وستدفع الثمن باهضا
    امريكا انتهت وكل شئ انتهى ولا يستطيعون فعل اي شئ الا الصراخ منادين يامغيثنا
    اللهم عليك بهم فانهم لا يعجزونك
