Hey Coach G.....one thing that might help the Defense is stop the Safeties from back peddling at the snap on almost every play. That is creating a huge gap in coverage behind the LBs, and could be why slants always work on us. Have the Safeties stay home, and only move back when pressed to. That way slants are right at them, and they can help more in run defense sooner.
