I feel the same way.. I'm mostly the happy kind of person. But sometimes I just have depressing mood and I don't know what to do with my life.. So I just lie in my bed staring into the ceiling listening to some love songs.. or these 80's mixes ,which I really love, thinking about everything.. untill I end up crying sometimes. But sadly.. crying isn't helpful to me as much as it used to be. I also can't cry sometimes.. maybe it's because of some stressful and dramatic events that have happened to me some time ago. And my doctor also told me I have a lack of tears.. that's why my eyes feel dry and they hurt so I use these "fake tears". Sometimes I feel useless but once I get through this I can be happy again.

Usually things like this relax me in unimaginable ways, but yesterday my girlfriend and I had a massive fight and broke up. And when things got back to "normal", she tells me she's moving back to her hometown 10 hours away from my place due to money and rent issues, and i probably wont be able to see her in months or even longer, I'll see her for the last time this Thursday and i hope not to break in tears. This song defines my inner emotions so well. It's gonna be a long night and i'll be listening to this.
I got to enjoy my last day with her yesterday. It was happy, not sad at all until that moment when her bus arrived and she held me very tight and said goodbye, then this music started playing in my head as i saw her leave cause I knew i wasn't gonna feel her body close to me anymore in a loooong time . But hey, we talked things out and we might give it a try, who knows, you have to fight back as you said. It's not over yet, cheers.
