I started with a Ridstar Q20, really enjoyed it but it got stolen after about 700 miles. Had decent range and would go about 31 on flat ground, but I'm a big dude (6'2", 275lbs) and wanted some more torque, so I went with the S6 as an upgrade/replacement. I'm probably gonna switch to street tires right away to minimize a lot of that noise and vibration, but I'm stoked after seeing you run it through its paces. I think I'll still likely run single motor the majority of the time, with the dual motor being reserved mostly for hills and top speed straightaways.
TWO QUESTIONS: What was your top speed of your bike after doing the brake lever power up trick? And does this adjustment have to be done again every time the ebike is turned off? Thanks!
It would have been nice if you would have told us your speed as you was rolling throughout the video I didn't hear too much about how fast you was actually going
That front in shouldn’t be hopping like that. Something going on with the front forks. I have a grizzly dual motor and it don’t jump hop like that at all. I mean it spins a little when pulling out. I just this bike to review. If it hops like that it will be in the box and on the way back to Amyet. Thanks for showing your ride on this. Did you happen to talk to them about the hopping in the front end?
Consistent it gets 32mph and that will drop to 28mph by the end of the ride. The get up speed is fun tho. 0-20 in 3 seconds flat and then another 4 second to 30
@@Slow_PEV if you change the P6 setting to a 20” (0020) instead of the factory 23” (0023) setting, you will get more torque and speed, but you will also have to change P18 ( % speed accuracy setting) up to 125% in order to have the right speed reading on your display.
Legit I had the s8 in my cart and this was just in the back not even listed I had to get it. S8 still a beast tbh it's more stable on acceleration out of the box because of that rear suspension.
i honestly preferred my s8 , just got a brand new s6 and it shakes bad and i’m only getting like 22 miles on my display , my s8 i feel like actually hit 30-34 depending on riding conditions but it unfortunately got stolen so im now trying to see if i can fix this new s6 , it has 28 v controllers which id weird cuz others w the shake had 26 v controllers
Yo brother I'm looking into possibly getting this bike off Amazon. Am I seeing Passenger Pegs >? Right where the kickstand is bolted on ? If so that'd be a nice addition as I'd be able to give my girlfriend a very short ride to work ! We both pretty skinny so combined weight would be close to 300lbs But for a short ride I don't see the issue. Great bike and test, but yeah would love it if you could confirm that this bike does indeed have Passenger pegs !
I did take my wife on the g60 and I liked the medal pegs on that one better but we will be riding with just my wife and I next video for a full test! Biggest issue with this bike is the rear shock need sto be upgraded to a 1000 lb instead of the 750 it came with. It shakes on full acceleration out the box other than that it's a good buy
Finally someone else who has the issue!! Amyet literally wants to ignore it. I think is has to do with the rear shock being way too weak. Will try a 1000 pound shock then front fork if that doesn't work.
Front wheel bounces coz of less weight on the wheel compared to the rear wheel..a little added weight will sort it out...but not all bikes are same so I cud be wrong.
@billbrant4506 I double checked and it seems to be the fork is really just flimsy compared to say a downhill mtb. The front motor is pulling pretty hard at full throttle so easing off the throttle a tad makes the shake stop.
@@Slow_PEV Try getting new tires. It almost looks like a tire defect. I have two of these and they don't shake like that. My 10 year old loves so don't be telling people it's not good for kids. My boy has been riding motorcycles since he was 3.
I bet I actually went and checked, deflating it several times to make sure it is seated properly. Try to dig deeper tho if I was some kid you might have a valid argument. The rear shock is too weak for the acceleration this bike has.

On my mine when I push the button on the top battery it doesn’t light up blue. Have you done something that it lights up?
It should light up. I wasn't even aware it could be turned off. Contact amyet asap
So what was the top speed once you unlocked it I bought the S8 over the S6 too many people complaining about the shaking mine doesn't shake at all

Look like your front fender is rubbing hard on the front tire don't think it's the forks tbh

The 48v battery when charged even on s8 is 53v
a 48v battery when fully charged reaches 54.6v. A 52v battery fully charged reaches 58.8v.
Yes so going to 60 volt is not out of the question but I would do new controllers for sure.

Rear shock I believe is too weak. S8 has big nice springs.

I still dont regret getting the s6, just sucks you have no choice but to get a stiffer shock.

I have same model and it shakes at 25 to 28 mph, probably the shocks or the tires.
Both !change tires and put inserts balance wheels. Handle Bars. Forks would a good as well.

I think that the one more powerful will gain some extra Mile per hour in case of both unlocked but i dont have sure i'm searching this info yet
