Vacation 2024 l Day 16 l NCL Getaway Cruise France Monet's Giverny & Rouen Tour l Normandy

Vacation 2024, Day 16! Our last full port day for our Norwegian Getaway Transatlantic Cruise! We port in France and have an excursion booked through the cruise line. We opted for the Monet's Giverny and Rouen Tour. We begin our day with a ride through Normandy to Giverny. We tour the extremely busy Monet Gardens but skip the house because the queue was over an hour wait. After the gardens we had a delicious lunch at a cidery in the countryside! We were then taken to the city of Rouen where we visited the Rouen Cathedral. This Cathedral is said to house Richard the Lionheart's heart and the viking leader Rollo. We were then taken to the site where Joan Of Ark was burned. We then enjoy dinner on the ship before packing up for our next day which is disembarkation.
