Everything went to Hell in Norway! Cruise Excursions

- Not all Days are equal as we found out on our Island Princess cruise to Norway. We Ported on a Sunday in Trondheim, Norway to explore and to see what the town had to offer. While beautiful, we did come to find out that that everything is closed on SUNDAYS. What the hell. Even the train ride that was supposed to be 30 minutes or so to a town called hell was delayed making it impossible for us to take and still make it back to the ship on time. You know, we don't want to be a pier runner. Not cool! Will the city of Trondheim is absolutely beautiful, we tried to make it as fun as possible while going into no stores and nothing to do. Well turns out getting attacked by seagulls is fun too...

Well sometimes a for looking at only day can bring lots of laughs and a break from go, go, going, Still is a very pretty town. Loved the sea gulls.

Its pronounced "Hell" LOL... Sounds similar to my journey around Milno Sweden! Checking the times is critical when in Nordic countries!

All of Norway is closed on sundays. 😅 And many companies completely shut down for 4 weeks!🤩
So we have learned. I respect that a lot just makes for a bad travel day for tourist!!!
Hello , hope all is well . Oh crap looks like Princess cruise line took you guys to a ghost town. Their needs to be an intenery check list. Passengers get off at ports to Eat,shop and explore. Getting a ice cream that is not enjoyable doesn't cut it. I wonder what orher Passengers thought of this mishap. Happy 🛳
I can only imagine how hard it is to plan a 16 day cruise and get it perfect. We still had a good time.
So what went to hell?
The whole day went to hell cause we were unable to get anywhere or do anything. We had plans but no luck
