Porsche 993 rear lid strut fuel and air filter change with deep clean

Porsche 993 rear trunk lid strut change. In order to gain access to the struts the I go through removing the air box and blower motor. With these components removed there is also good access to change the fuel filter and do a deep engine bay clean and add a layer of protection

Another good video. A few things on the strut job. 1) It's much easier with the engine out ;) 2) The Porsche brand struts will last you much longer than the knockoff ones. 3) I've struggled with replacing the struts a few times and then I asked my son to do it. Now I pay the small neighborhood kids $20 to reach in and pull those hood strut clips and they do it in under 5 minutes and I don't have to remove parts. Nice and clean engine bay!

There are no good videos on YT about the procedures you've done. There still aren't... Sorry, but what is the point of saying what you've done versus actually showing how it was done. Missed opportunity...
