The beginning of episode 8 was hilarious. “Dude I can smell the bacon from a mile away” 😭

Better call Saul doesn’t disappoint. All the moments with Bob Odenkirk are amazing. And then there’s also other characters who get to shine in that show. Matt I recommend watching Better Call Saul from season 2 that’s where it picks up(S1 isn’t bad) but S2 is where things get more interesting

BCS is one of those shows thats much more better on a rewatch, especially S1 and 2. Its a slow burn to get started but once it does the setup is worth the long setup. For me I kinda lost interest in the early seasons but as it was getting to S4 or so my dad told me its getting really good and encouraged me to get back into it and I jumped around a bit in S3 and 4 before rewatching S1 and 2 which I had largely forgotten. So I kinda agree with you its one of those shows where watching out of order can somewhat enhance the experience bc the earlier seasons get better once you know what theyre setting up for

If walter white didn't come into my office that day he would be dead or behind bars within a month. Walter white couldn't have done it without me. In episode 8 of breaking bad there is a line where he talks about lalo. Lalo is a character in better call saul. Saul Goodman is just a pathetic lawyer who lost his brother and the love of his life.

Dean Norris’s character definitely has his moments, but I’m just not a fan, I simply found him really annoying & extremely obnoxious. Better Call Saul which you mentioned was a decent show overall, but not even close to as good as this was even though I’ve met people who think it’s better than this. Saul is a good character but I’m not sure he needed his own show, I didn’t like the tone for a lot of it & I got really tired of all the law firm stuff, plus to me Saul is much better as a supporting character than he is as a lead one. The supporting cast of Better Call Saul are what really make it, especially Jonathan Banks & Michael Mando. It’s an entirely different show when he’s not on screen.
