Yes, there are ways around this and there always will be, but it does make it harder for them to get into the world :p
It will still sure stop a noob like stevee tho. :D
It's probably worth doing more subtle things, like changing repeater timings. That way they won't necessarily know to just open up MCEdit or whatever
its about sending a mesaage!
With enough time and patience we ALL can write a nice list of players and alts to stop, that's the power of the community, but mostly it's about sending a message, keep it up dude!
Maybe you should make a change so it does this process to anyone who breaks the credit signs XD
The funny thing is that Steveee will make a video on how to do this
absoulutly
lmao true
True
What are we betting for how long it'll take him to steal it?
Of course, why dosen't he not (try to) do this
If you turned on instant respawn, wouldn't they just be completely trapped forever?!!!
true
That's genious
That's what i was thinking
Damn why didn't I think of this xd That crashes the game really fast lmaooo
@CATMAN thats literally the point
Stevee’s next video: working soft-lock with redstone!!
bruh, imagine
imagine
lol
*command blocks
Ge would click bait them with redstone and say it works in survival
This won't lock Steveee out completely, but it's great for at least letting him know he's not welcome here. Love it! :D
he could just use an alt in the first place, yeah
btw, steveee was not harmed in this video
@@Zyrexia ...unfortunately
@@Zyrexia yeah but if he does make an alt and still makes the video PDN could just do the same command on the alt meaning either waste money or stop
@@dervishy3722 he wont know ign of the alt

This video really puts the “nuke” in “purpledragonnuke”
The nuke puke duke
there might be a way to use scoreboards and block detection so that if anyone removes a credit sign or smth you can do this to them. That way you can evade Steveee using alts or force him to leave credit in, could also use a chunk loader and put them in a random chunk far away and keep them loaded so he can't find the commands and delete them without going to massive lengths, not sure how you'd start it however.
Good idea honestly, if sign is removed. Execute command blocks
i agree with this
Better, make a scoreboard that says something like "made by purpledragonnuke, do not copy this", and make the world softlock if you break it
yk poeople can just use schematica and completely bypass that right
@@joshuaantony8423 hide the command blocks in the build?

I think a great idea would be to force a boss bar of a named wither, with your links and such, on all players who download the world, and if that wither is killed, then a command block detects it and activates the soft lock. Same could be done with a scoreboard with set display on the right of the screen
yeah but they could just copy the structure into a different world
@@BluePotatoBP that would require actual effort though
And you could nust rename the wither if you find it with carpet mod
You can just spawn a boss bar without the need for a wither or boss
@Blue not if they put the command blocks inside the structure
Played for 8 years, I've never thought about this O_o This man is just from another universe.

I gotta say, out of those first few comment screenshots you collaged for command block ideas, the one with the Boss Bar suggestion was dope.
You should make a redstone build that has random, unnecessary things in it, random moving pistons, random dispensers shooting items, that kind of stuff. Then, challenge your friends to find all those random builds
What if he makes one thats super obvious to the redstone content thieves, and then it activates a trap
@@ThatKoukiZ31 idk
@@ThatKoukiZ31 even better make it not obvious, like one of those "trap streets" (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trap_street) so that content thieves will inevitably leave those fingerprints in the build.
"...and it's very evil!"
For Steveee, ANYTHING!!!
You can easily work around this by uploading the world to a server and then disabling command blocks
Oh no
You can also redownload the world then use an alt
This is annoying and could mean that the world download would be member exclusive which would be really sad
Or world edit and only copy the build
Steveee is too dumb for that.
I have to say, you're creativity knows no bounds xD
That system is genius but as you probably know there are some flaws with it and here are the two major ones I found:
1. Steveee can just redownload the world and instantly use an alt account to avoid being banned
2. He could just upload the world to a server and disable command blocks
But I got an idea for that
Use a datapack, that will completely remove the second problem because those are activated regardless whether or not command blocks are enabled (at least I am pretty sure about it, I never tried it though). In that datapack you can put all the commands to check if -Steveee- the redstone goblin is there and then activate a sequence of commands that do exactly what you did. Futhermore you can do something to prevent him from stealing credits even on an alt account, just let a command repeat that shows something like "Build by purpledragonnuke" in the action bar, and that will in his video unless he blurs that out... if he is gonna blur it, then you might as well put that in the title or subtitle instead of the action bar, sure it will obstruct the view, so I would go for the subtitle, but that can be used as an advantage, since he'd have to blur an important part of the screen out and you know... who would do that.
Now there are still two things I did not mention, unavoidable flaws.
1. You made a video about this... so he will know how to avoid getting banned from the world, and I am sure you thought of that so I hope you have a plan B in mind...
2. Just deleting the datapack will do the same as using your system and disabling command blocks...
So basically, there is no real way around these, the best you can probably do is to implement a different system, like the one I proposed with a datapack, and delete my comment (and I suppose others probably proposed similar solutions, so theirs as well) so he can't read it (or them), and then hope and pray that he is too stupid to know about datapacks since he does not know how to properly do redstone either...
Sorry for this wall of text, I just HAD to point out the things you can improve in order to stop Steveee!
Oh and if anything is unclear just ask about it.
Cheers!
He has stole datapacks in the past so I doubt datapacks would work.
@@BusterBrown1217 that hurts... but well maybe he will not know that a datapack is doing the work... best we can do is just to hope...
@@ArcadeMystereo Hurts? I didn't intend to offend you if that is what you are saying I did. I apologize if that is the case. And yes, lets do hope that if anyone tries this it works.
@@BusterBrown1217 oh sorry for the miscommunication
I mean it hurts that he even stole datapacks and therefore knows how to use them :(
just disable their alt account as well
1:20 "Magic™" lol 💀💀💀
You could also add a repeating command block that detects if there is any other block where your sign is supposed to be, then if they break it, it will trigger all of this.
Just have a always active repeating command block saying /fill (coordinates) (coordinates) air replace !sign. Then just put your chain command blocks coming out of it.
I’m not in the game right now but I’m 99% sure this works.
You could also add a scoreboard that has a setdisplay set as list that says the thing was made by you or a Redstone clock that every once in a while uses /tellraw and says that it was made by you. There are ways you can make sure these are unbreakable so the copier won’t be able to turn it off.
I’m a command block RUclipsr 😎😎😎
That could hurt people genuinely looking around the contraption, though, especially if they accidentally break the block the sign is placed on.
Could you have 2 commandblocks that always recreate each other if they are destroyed like virus processes?
You could just copy and paste the build to a new world though :/
@@Purplers Oh true. Structure blocks.
@@Gearshift I'm not a command block person, is there any way to detect if a structure block is placed?
And that's the sound of the ban hammer hitting the ban anvil.
(The banvil, if you will.)
That is so simple, yet effective.
This is really a creative idea to ban specific people that really annoyed me when I play in my world.
idea: give all players an achivement when they join so that their name appears in chat and then revoke the achivement so that rejoining the world makes the message popup again
You could make it so that it activates on anyone who breaks the signs that credit you so that you don’t have to specifically find the people who are stealing it
Genius
X-ray mod to hide sign or just destroy the command block that detects that.
@@lockl00p27 add a command block to activate it if you get too close to the command blocks that do it
@@LiEnby Break that block first then. A fix would be to detect you in a “space,” but even then things like world editors and spectator with “Spectators can render chunks” off and /setblock would work.
@@lockl00p27 you can't get close to it or it'd detect you being there and activate so how are you supposed to break it
Or you could just make a command block to constantly put a message above the hotbar giving credit, and also make the command block self-replicate (one way is with repeating structure block loops) so its nearly impossible to remove the credit, and also add a command block that basically soft locks the world if the credit does get removed and also make that self-replicating just in case and if that gets removed just nuke the build so it's impossible to remove the credit. Not sure how to detect blocks being broken but it would probably work
If you turn on immediaterespawn and constantly kill them, its almost impossible to quit mc without using any keys or using task manager
and you have to bruteforce your way using an external software in order to stop the mess
heres the thing uhm alt f4 f3 c and since they are in a singleplayer world uhm if they spam esc it stops them from dying soooo yeah..
@@GreyplaysXDlol spamming esc won't work when immediate respawn is on. You have to use Task Manager
@@AJ-Palermo u tried it? i did and it worked
@@GreyplaysXDlol yeah, it usually lags too much to detect key presses
If you turned on instant respawn, wouldn't they just be completely trapped forever?
Two flaws I came up with:
1. You can use a server and that allows you to disable commamd blocks.
2. You can use a cracked launcher to change your username.
3. You can use authme to change your username.
Hi Purple, love your content, but I am really sorry that this design doesn't use any B O A T or entities whatsoever
That part where MattBatWings thought it was a zip-bomb absolutely got me 🤣
I like your approach to this problem.
This reminds me of when, a long time ago, I put a repeating command block in my redstone world with the command "tp @p ~ ~5000 ~", then enabled it. I thought I had lost the world forever- eventually I downgraded the world one version, which wiped out command block data (an effect I had observed elsewhere).
I mean if you know it teleports you to 5000 blocks above it, you can just execute /setblock ~ ~-5000 ~ minecraft:air and that should fix that
This reminds me of those Little Big Planet levels that soft lock your game in the infinite respawn cycle and you had to reset your save on the game's files
This is big brain time. Absolutely loved this!
Thank you so much, your the hero that was NEEDED.
good god the content theft problem is so bad we have Minecraft Map DRM now
3:48 wait adding a chunk/book ban would be really smart.
What i would personally do is have a sign in various places of the build that link to your channel, and have a similar system so that it's constantly checking to see if the sign is there and has the right text on it. And if it doesn't, then it activates all of this stuff to whoever is the nearest player.
Basically we're making DRM for minecraft worlds. I love it.
what would be even better is when steevee joins it slightly breaks the redstone contraption so he doesn't suspect anything but it doesn't work
Gotta love some good old revenge
2:46 the shade
youtube algorithm is crazy! I was watching undertale songs and videos and randomly in my reccomendations this video appeared. I clicked it and realized why, you have undertale music in the backround. So tiny of a detail and RUclips algorithm still picks it up
Amazing concept ❤🔥👌
There is actually a pretty interesting and simple way to instantly crash someone's game. If you were to use the command " /execute at PLAYERNAME run particle elder_guardian ~ ~ ~ 0 0 0 1 2147483647 ", elder guardian effects would spawn at the integer limit, which of course crashes the game (and it also works without causing any sort of harm to the world itself).
Erh why exactly does this crash ?
@@LiEnby You know the sort of elder guardian face that spawns when you get mining fatigue? This command sends 2.1 billion of them to a specific player.
you could modify the world data so that it already includes player data for the thieves, so for example theres already a position and gamemode defined for a thief. you can set the position really far away and the gamemode to spectator. that way you dont need commands and its harder to fix it
props for stopping a thief
i give you my respect
Great idea! They will find ways around but pls don't stop talking about! Love your content
2:20 you can put it in a command block. just use /execute to run the kick command as a player.

You shouldn't have released this video. He would not have been able to know, atleast for a while
It doesn't and you can't do anything about that
he need content bro
1:48 omg i did this on the SMP I co-host. I was so confused because I just changed the gamerule to help out the lag and just DC in spectator and I couldn't join. It wasn't until an admin tped to my location where I found out the issue
the horse death sound wouldve also been perfect for this
you can chunk load the zone where you have to place the commad blocks that way if they want to redownload the map to destroy the command blocks they will not find it
Love your vids

I really hope your youtube channel grows. You are really underrated.
Too far...
yeah this full-on helps this
Now that's a good idea

This is the content i subed for XD
There are some ways you can create "technically" escapable crashes (if you had a good enough PC with yottabytes of RAM and a yottabyte clock speed CPU) by using commands such as:
execute as @e as @e as @e as @e as @e as @e as @e as @e run summon marker
(every tick, the amount of existing entities will be increases by the amount of existing entities to the 8th power)
There are also ways of "legitimately" crashing your game, these are rarer but I was able to find some experimenting.
Useally they boil down to setting a value to something it was never supposed to have or having too much data.
For the "too much data" case, you could use some data storage manipulation:
data modify storage crash array set value [[]]
data modify storage crash array append from storage crash array
Thank u so much you just made a lot of builders and redstoners worldsk that much safer!👍
You can do multiple things to go around this self destruct world. Just run it on a server, were command blocks are disabled. Or if yiu are more advanced, you can edit the world files soooooo
I think people forget that you can just disable command blocks, but nonetheless, very epic!
1:04 oh, cool you use ESSENTIAL MOD, the best way to play Minecraft multiplayer!
I would also recommend putting secret credit signs or something along those lines like map art or something as a kind of watermark that way there's evidence the altered version is a copy and not an original.
You should add a cmd block that will list all player name so when steeve use an alt u can see his alt from his videos
This is actually really smart!
If only...
Sadly, the world that steveee would join is not the original, just a copy. All of the changes that occurred in steveee’s copy would not transfer over to the world that purpledragonnuke owns, so even if it grabbed the alt’s name there would be no way to give the name to purpledragonnuke.
@@stardustcell2707 Yeah plus again, remove the command block

You sir, are a legend.
I was wondering what that community poll was about
You can change command block’s nbt with an external tool so they can go around it
"it plays the most obnoxious sound possible"
*hell*
i think a more effective way of doing this is to just remove a couple blocks needed by the redstone machine, thieves wouldn't know why their world isn't working - and probably just leave it
You can also just use particle command to send mass of particles to lag user out.
This is great
They could potentially change the 'spectators generate chunks' gamerule in the world files
I was just reading matbatwings community post and then u upload a video literally seconds after i finished reading OH MY GOD
Thieves would always find a way to work around things.
you could technially turn the credit signs into falling sand entities so they dont have a hitbox and are therefore impossible to break

simple ways to bypass (off the top of my head)
1) alt
2) friend shows them / gives world download after breaking the command
and really anything else with a friend or alt like worldedit copy and paste, structure blocks, etc.
Changing accounts and re-downloading will work if I'm noit mistaken, but I really love what you did here. Steveee will be very surprised.
Place down a player head so the game sends a web request to a server .. though I dunno how you'd receive data from it to see if they had been blocked already. Didn't think this fully through
I know! you could have the builds only availible on a server you own and it checks peoples usernames and ip address and if it is the same as the stealer it bans them. then the stealing person is forced to pay for alt accounts and vpns. also it displays peoples usernames on the middle of screen so each video, the content stealer leaks their alt account name or has a massive censor in the middle of screen
edit: even if they have replay mod or world downloading mod, they still need to pay for alts and vpns to access server
Me with NBTExplorer: *You can't stop me*
just put like a chain of observers next to all the credit signs so that they CANT get rid of them and link that chain of observers to a redstone clock that is connected to a repeat command block which spams /kill
this is too good lmao
UNDERRATED CHANNELLLLLLL
worldedit and remove command blocks, or just alt like you mention since it is based on that
Honestly I did this with a list of steamid's in source engine maps for a entire community that thought it was ok to ban everyone on my friends list, they banned me and everyone on my friends list and their only way to get unbanned was to remove me from their friends, except the reasoning for my ban was I made maps for other communities, not theirs, but they still used my maps on their server, I didn't have a problem with this, the ban I did, and banning all my friends, and the ones that got unbanned from removing me as their friends got instantly rebanned for not greating their 12 year old admins like they are gods and everyone on their friends list. So I had a list of steamid's belonging to their community and I banned them from every server that used my maps on a button press, commonly this was a obvious button. It would launch every form of ban on their steamid possible.
Hey u can kick from command blocks if you run kick as part of a /execute command
This is awesome. Here before this blows up.
