Good that you return small fish to the lake
There are some tips I'd share with you:1)To bring in a fish the way you're doing, a bamboo rod would be the best. 2)If you're using a carbon fiber or graphite rod, you obviously need a reel. A Shimano or Berkley casting reel will hardly cost 1200-1500INR(A three gear reel) 3)If you have landed a fish, use your index finger and thumb to hold it by the gills. It cannot escape. 4)With that amount of wind, you will require weights to stabilize the bait. Adjust the boober size accordingly. 5)Is that a fish farm in Andhra? Why did you release the snake head?

No doubt it's a great catch but your fishing equipment needs to include a reel to hold more line. You need to tire the fish b4 you bring it out. You got lucky to hv managed to catch the 3+ kg rohu. Tight lines!!

Very nice catch brother, I would suggest that you must have a piece of cotton when you hold the fish and when you separate the fish from the hook. It can be worst if you damage your fingers. Be safe brother.
