There is no more beautiful sound on earth than when the bride loves on the Bridegroom in one accord. It's the very sweetness of God on our hearts, poured back onto Him and each other. "It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore." - Psalm 133
We were reaching for this freedom in the Spirit, this depth and sensitivity to Him forty years ago in the north of England. We had some great moments in His presence. But we were clumsy and immature most of the time. We didn’t know how to properly steward His presence. Hearing this today has restored my hope that our dreams of true Spirit-led worship can still be realized. He will still have a church where man’s programs take a distant second place to the wind of His Spirit, a true dwelling place.

You minister to Him, He ministers to you. You have set a table. You can't out give Him. He is feasting on your love offering and multiplying in return. A perfect circle. The sound of heaven. The love of God eternally expressed, and consummated. Your years at His feet, fixed on His face, touching His heart, in His Presence, in this season there is both feast and harvest. True. I mean they could have used the same lyrics but not the same melody/harmony 😢 the reason why you really can’t mixed Christian songs to the worldly ones. What is for God is for God alone. Just saying
yes it is a worldly song but worship is an individual's expression of love for God. i dont think God would restrict worship to only a specific type of song.
What about redeeming things for the Kingdom of God? The world takes so many things from God and corrupts them, including "love songs." I think we have the ability and privilege to redeem such things back to God.
