    The people in the comments saying this kid sucks are nuts. I doubt they could play Crystallize better than this kid, he kills it and he's only in middle school! Very impressive.

    Just 5 years ago, I would never have imagined seeing someone play a violin at a middle school talent show and actually being applauded, enthusiastically. Great job Logan.

      Hi, I'm Logan. The feedback I got was really awesome after the show. I think I really opened a lot of peoples eyes to how truly awesome the violin can be. Hopefully some of them try it out themselves!
      Cheers.

    I've never heard the violin played like this, so I looked up a bunch of different versions of this (professional violinists versions). I can honestly say your cover is my favorite. Something beautifully haunting about the way you play.

    • @iliketurtles8329
      @iliketurtles8329 8 лет назад +1

      It most likely took a year or two to learn vibrato and to play fast

    • @TheCreate78
      @TheCreate78 8 лет назад +1

      BudderWarriors i started playing 3 years ago and I prefer favour to move my hand instead of favour the vibrato. So if you concentrate on the vibrato, sure you'll take 2 years or even 3 (because 2 it is quite short).
      But, personally I will always favour the technical than the vibrato ^.^

    • @RoryRenee24
      @RoryRenee24 7 лет назад +3

      【İJoseph】 You should get the notes down first, because they're really easy. It's of course, in alphabetical order, so if you know one note, learn to read the rest. For me, it took about a month of off and on practice to get a decent vibrato. I would suggest you use your 'bad' vibrato and evolve it. Playing fast becomes more smooth when you learn to slur, and get more used to half notes. You should probably keep a beat by tapping your feat, or play very slowly in the beginning. The first fast piece I played was Gavotte.

    • @Lucario9d
      @Lucario9d 7 лет назад

      【İJoseph】 that's not fast, use ur wrist

    That's awesome! I played 3rd through 8th grade, then quit and didn't touch my violin for 12 years, but Lindsey Stirling's music inspired me to pick it up again about a month ago. Still had all the memory of how to play. I can play Anti Gravity so far, just need to work on the speed a little too.

      I am 13 and have self taught myself things like vibratos and third position but I play in a class at my school. I practice everyday for at least an hour and I can only play the beginning of the song and I've been playing for about a week. I would really like lessons but self teaching is much cheaper and is still effective. I can play a bit of the fast part but only about the first 8 measures.

      Mmm yo diría que para la parte rápida como en la canción tocas una nota diferente dos veces eso hace que suene rápido, yo te recomendaría que empieces practicando esa parte en vez de tocar dos veces las notas (que es lo que hace que se oiga rápido) empieza tocando mejor una vez y no las dos por qué así es más difícil y cansado prácticar, ya con el tiempo tomarás práctica y podrás jugar esa sección rápida no se si me di a entender

Ya me la aprendí hace años, he perdido la práctica del violín pero todavía lo toco de vez en cuando. Honestly I seen better I am sorry but I didn't really like how he jerk himself it just felt like he just played the notes instead of feeling the music and I swear also have the music on so it helps him play and if accidentally makes a mistake the music is right their and he can easily recover with an air bow so I just didn't like cause of the way he is playing he not feeling the music

      karla lopez chill, he's just a kid and will probably learn as he goes. you do have to realize that some violinists have a what we call "stone face" even professionals have it, we all have these moments. and for me, I think he's doing really well for his age.
