- In any line of work, observations are key. This is especially important when raising livestock. The more observant one is, the more likely they are to pick up on potential problems and prevent them from occurring. Today was a day of many observations and responses to them. It was an interesting day culminating with #13 having her lambs. All went well and she had a very nice ewe lamb. We have 5 more ewes to lamb this month, 4 of them due on the 8th. Thanks for joining us at Norwal Farm.
Michael Walsh and Roger Norgel.

Things are really going along well. Happy to see the 2 little black lambs. You may be on lambing watch tonight. Fingers crossed the 2 tiny ones with be ok. Will check in tomorrow to see how things are going. Sleeting, snowing and a cold night here. So great your on premises this year.
Thanks, all is quiet so far tonight. The two small ones nursed some today from the ewe, the littlest one needed some help to get started. Heading out to the barn now to check on them. Keep warm, stay safe!
Congratulations on another birth! Michael you can tell by the tone of your voice how much you love what you’re doing. You care so much for these animals!
Thanks, I really do enjoy what I do!
Looks like Lamborghini is doing a good job for you!
We are very pleased with this cross. We had just a few last year but, all of the winter lambs are sired by Lamborghini as well as the lambs we are expecting from our 4 registered Suffolk ewe lambs in early April.
