I enjoyed the whole 3 part series of this conversation and to be honest I did learn quite a lot. Got nothing against Chris, and in fact he has some interesting questions (although its quite clear he's trying to find errors rather than genuinely learn about Islam), but Mohammed addresses those questions very eloquently. The final portion around the imposition of western definitions and criteria for scholarly texts was very interesting as well and a very valid point made by Mohammed. Charles Murray, leader of race realism has his books reviewed very favorably by people like Bill Clinton. Sam Harris and many other popular figures have circulated and supported his views to various extents. This is just one example.
The fact the white dude wants to be offended instead of understanding what MH is saying is frustrating. Yes it’s wrong to make any sort of value judgements based on race (MH agrees here) but people still do anyways, especially through channels that are deemed to be objective and free of bias, such as academia (here the dude fails to understand this)
He even says academia is the least racist place. Omg Hijab was literally citing for him eugenics programs of hitler that had their start in United States. In fact it was American books on race by anthropologist and academics that influenced hitler the most.

Even after Hijab beautifully summed up and put to bed any criticisms at the end, Chris still in his arrogants tried to force down his definitions and terminologies. Chris why does the world have to bend to the authority of western (majority white authority, just to clear things I am not saying because of someone's skin they are wrong or we reject it however I am pointing this out to show you this race thought history shows a lot of bias and especially this race when it comes to academic discussions. Hijab means white authority not white skin, not because the color of there skin makes them wrong but that they show a lot of bias towards it, you see the difference or you still think this is a racist? lol) so why do we have to bend to the thoughts and feelings of western scholarship? Why is that the only place you are taking your knowledge from? There are thousands if not millions of other academics in other regions races and ideologies that also have definitions and thoughts about the same words but have different interpretations. How do you decided who is speaking more of the truth. This is what hijab was trying to point out to you. The world doesn't have to accept the wests terms because what gives them that authority? nothing, they are not god, they are super subjective. It must be objective more like 1+1=2 and not something like "perfect" means something is smooth so its perfect, but someone else can just say no for what the object is even though it isn't smooth its perfect for what it was made to be.... both completely subjective, so now if that object isn't smooth is it not perfect or is it perfect cause its exactly what is suppose to be?. So that is why you must broaden your scope. Honestly Chris you weren't here to learn and that was apparent, you did say yourself you came to debate, but all your motives were so bias because since you cant sleep because the bible wasn't preserved which you admitted, and now that you beliefs and salvation has come to question, instead of rethinking your outlook you are trying to bring down others scripters to make yourself feel better about your own. Even if other scripters weren't preserved, that doesn't then make yours "more" of the truth???! Yours has holes, contradictions, preservation issues, rethink your beliefs first rather than trying to attack others cause you seem to be loosing in both your own home ground and the visitors.

I think this guys an agent, way too much free time and incentive to learn hadeeths and names of narrators just to refute/provoke Islam/Muslims. Intelligence agencies hire people who are able to learn new languages and cultures quickly, he fits that profile. Doesn’t seem like he’s a devout Christian, never talks about his beliefs, has a very sharp eye for details but still kinda clumsy since he’s not fluent in Arabic or the science of hadeeth. He’s a mini dajjal, there to cause doubts or provoke Muslims, beware U.K. muslims.

No, we use memorization and we correct each other even if a letter or pronunciation is not done properly this to my knowledge doesn't exist in Christianity.

    Quran 2:62
'' Those who believe (in the Quran) and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures) and the Christians and the Sabians->ANYAllah< Is The Protector Of Monasteries, Churches, Synagogues And The Mosques )
    Quran 22:40
[They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right - only because they say, " Our Lord is God " And were it not that God checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of God is much mentioned. And God will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, God is Powerful and Exalted in Might.
Note: Why did Allah protected Churches and Synagogues if they worship false Allah ?

    Quran 5 48

( The above verse saying is that God will not accept a religion from the >MUSLIM< and the Non-Muslims but total "submission" to God )

Answer: Be kind to other human beings and Do not lie, Do not steal, Do not cheat, Do not hurt others, Do not be prideful and Do the charity work.

    Quran 5:5
''This day [all] good foods have been made lawful, and the food of those who were given the Scripture (ie Christian and Jew) is lawful for you and your food is lawful for them. And [lawful in marriage are] chaste women from among the believers (ie Muslim ) and chaste women from among those who were given the Scripture (ie Christian and Jew) before you, when you have given them their due compensation, desiring chastity not unlawful sexual intercourse or taking [secret] lovers. And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless and he in the Hereafter will be among the losers.''
Note: > Only < Islam allows interfaith marriages (>14 hundredsSame God< but They are >ALL Corrupt< more or less, some more than others from their original foundational teaching. The older religion are MORE corrupted than newer religion.
    Question to Muslim and Christian:
Does God / Allah only answer your pray ?
And God / Allah does not answer non Muslim / non Christian pray?
Did Allah '' Canceled '' all other religions Judaism and Christianity?
    Quran 5:48
'' And We have revealed to you [O Muhammad] the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture ( ie New and old Testament ) and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth. >>>TO EACH OF YOU WE PRESCRIBED A LAW AND A METHODone nation>differ qualified < for to enter Paradise )
On the day of judgement God will ''NOT'' judge humanity bases on Sunni Muslim sect VS Shia Muslim sect ''NOR'' by Muslim VS non-Muslim >but< Doer of Goods VS Doer of Evils.

Lol. Every Prophet(PBUT) was Muslim. If they followed their scriptures and their scriptures were preserved they would automatically harken to the message of the Quran.

Its more important to Hijab to be right than actually use the time to spread the msg

Stephen, you sound like a strange individual. You claim he has "lost the plot" because he's not inviting people to Islam, but he's doing better than that... He is teaching people about Islam. Teaching what they were previously ignorant about, and clearing any confusions and misconceptions they may have, and thus the chances of them accepting Islam is far greater than merely handing out leaflets, an invitation card or preaching from the pulpit.
If you haven't got anything beneficial to share, or commend Hijab for his hard work and effort, especially during the month of fasting, then I suggest you keep your mouth shut, because your toxic bile isn't welcome.

What he's saying isn't racist it's just the reality race plays in scholarship, he's not saying being one race or another is better or worse at all he's saying being one race doing scholarship about another race it's very likely your work has been influenced in some way from your culture... I think you are missing the point that this works both ways and the only reason he's saying "white" is because that's predominantly the race of western academia which is being applied to the east which is predominantly a different race.
Muhammad's point about race applies to eastern scholarship about the west also and very clearly stated at: 11:34 "you have to appreciate there can be a bias that has to do with race, there can be a bias that has to do with placement and geography"

    • @hafsa1698

His point still stands. Why does he have to accept a white man’s definition of what perfect preservation means? He literally explained to him 2 major Islamic scholarly opinions on perfect preservation and he rejects that and pushes a western definition on him?

Hijab isn’t a racist- it’s clear as day he isn’t. What he’s saying is true. Most of the hyper rationalist language and rhetoric that is used to disparage Islam and other groups/ideologies are products of Western thinkers who happen to be white.
“The white savior” complex for example, is a term used to illustrate how White people of the past implicitly considered themselves superior to their colored counterparts. They would often cite how colored people weren’t civilized, how they were savage, backwards, and needed to be taken out of the jungle so to speak.
This still happens to this day. Colored people are deemed as more backwards, that we don’t take care of our women, that we need the “white savior” to come to our lands and show us the way.
None of this is being racist. It’s the reality of history. Look at secular liberalism for example. It’s the most violent religion in the planet today but no one ever seems to realize it. Why ?

    • @bubness1587

@@mswimboo I’m not trying to explain something he didn’t explain.. he explained it clear enough for me to understand his meaning but not for you so I tried to help, his choice of words aren’t ones Id use simply because you need to be clear when using those terms which is very hard to do so Id settle for “western scholarship would potentially have an unconscious bias on topics outside western culture” or something. Using terms like “white” or “black” aren’t inherently racist you just need to be extremely accurate in your speech afterwards and not talk to people who can’t comprehend what you’re saying which the other guy did multiple times in this interaction and others in the past sadly.
He even clearly states he doesn’t reject or accept the scholarship based on the colour of the skin he looks at the merit of the work itself but he’s saying you have to be aware of the bias that would naturally be there.
