Join Niko for a wild 9-day archery elk hunt in one of New Mexico's toughest units right after filling his Alaskan moose tag 2 weeks prior.
Picture this: Day one, a hardcore 14-mile trek with a wild 6k elevation change, all while chasing after two massive bulls.
Every day was a heart-pounding adventure filled with bugles, close encounters, and the thrill of the hunt. Didn't fill the tag this time, but the experiences and memories? Priceless! It is about so much more than the kill.

Kinda surprised didnt see canyon shot! 50 an under is alot more fun little more like bow huntin too!!
I watched until you took a shot that looked like you were a first timer. That had to be like 90 yards. What was the range? Even if you hit him at that range you might get one lung. I carved a broadhead out of a bulls shoulder one year after I killed him during rifle season. He walked around with a broadhead scraping his shoulder for at least a season until the tip was blunt and polished smooth. Don’t let your jumpy adrenaline make your shot for you.
Dang! Yeah they are tough as hell. Definitely good advice!
I’m just the camera guy and editor for these hunts and Chanel. I don’t remember what they said on distance. (Far for sure)
How was the camera work and edit?
Any suggestions for this season?
@@GivensMediaGroupwas this unit 53?

@@GivensMediaGroup nice I have the second rifle hunt in that unit this year you ever hunted that hunt or just bow?
@@458fay No, but it should not be a problem for you at all. The amount of "Rifle" shots" we could have taken was crazy
That was an awful lot of movement for someone calling, (nobody move cow looking at us.)
What broadhead did you use on that monster bull you got mounted? Loved the video too man!
Fun times.
That shot was ass my guy 💪🏼
Completely unethical distance with a bow. Definitely won’t watch anything further. Don’t pretend to care about God when you disrespect the animals he allows you to have to survive.
Thanks!
