This episode is based on the real life murder attempt it’s known as the Slenderman Stabbing Case it’s where a 12 year old girl named Peyton Leutner was brutally stabbed 19 times by her two supposed friends Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser who btw were also 12 years old lured Payton out onto the woods and they repeatedly stabbed her and left her there to die until she crawled out of the woods and she was seen by a guy on a bicycle and he called the police and they came and took her took the hospital she survived and she’s doing well now Anissa was placed in a mental facility afterwards and she got released in 2021 and Morgan was also placed in a mental facility she got sentenced to 40 years in there and she pleaded guilty to first degree intentional homicide and Anissa was charged with second degree intentional homicide and Payton’s now in college and she’s doing well
Onset of early childhood schizophrenia is rare but it does happen, normal diagnosis for a male is late teens to mid 20s, and for a female is mid 20s to early 30s
oh this generation, have yall never heard the Slenderman case? it was real, 2 girls lured a friend out into the woods to sacrifice her in order to become a proxy.
@@jarrettowens6073 Slenderman had a multi-purpose role: citing him for a narrative that if caught they would go to an institution over jail, it was easier for Anissa Weier to use him as a front than it was to outright demand that Morgan Geyser do something about their third-wheel situation, and Slenderman was the fictional character of choice that represented their preexisting bloodlust. If Geyser actually believed some supernatural monster was after her or her family she would've acted swiftly in a psychotic state, not premeditate with Weier for months on end, but don't expect any doctor who's ever treated her up to this point to actually confirm that they made a false diagnosis. Not because she has any illnesses, but because admitting to getting snowed by 12 year olds in a high-profile case would ruin their careers.

So this episode is based on a real life murder attempt known as the Slenderman stabbing case for anyone who didnt know
I knew it.
We watch Law and Order: SVU - we knew it, it's our burden.
I literally would have never guessed. What is a Glasgow Man Mansion and why is he just some guy with a hoodie?
i love the ending of this episode. carisi, i believe, is the only one in the elevator who sees the truth
For the curious, Glasgowman turns out to be Groundskeeper Willie.
Fake: Groundskeeper Willie is from North Kilttown

Question is, were both girls playing the police? We may never know
The ending solidifies that.
@@JamaicanRainYou think? If so, what was the point of everything they did? Like why stab the little sister at all?

I wonder what Anissa Weier thinks of this episode.
What is Glasgow Man?
it’s the law and orders version of slenderman. this case is based on a real story
did he have long why hair and beard?
I hate this episode more than any other SVU episode.
It's one of the SVU episodes i hate too , those girls Will try to kill that girl again
They're crazy
I hate it because it's based on two psycho girls that damn near killed that poor girl Peyton Lautner.
@@jarrettowens6073 Yeah it was like an homage the real-life perpetrators didn't deserve.
