I use Zildjian cymbals, and I just tried these out today at the shop. Amazing, classic sounding, warm cymbals but still maintains a bright characteristic that gives some superb definition. The 16" crash has a very low pitch and can easily pass for an 18". The ride is very versatile and extremely crashable, yet still maintains a distinct definition for clean riding. The 18" is possibly one of the best sounding crashes Sabian has ever produced. As Andrew stated, Sabian really did hit a home run with these cymbals, and of course, the price is a no brainer.
They sound like dream bliss. Impressive they are more on the hhx side but cheaper than the aax. Hopefully they sell well. Great idea

Dig the dark tones! Clean, easy on the ears. Sounds like a good value!
Hihats, effects and crashes sounded a bit metallic but decent. I liked especially that china and 18" crash. But the rides sounded too much like zbt line from Zildjian, meaning a bit cheap

I mean they're better than my cymbals, but wouldn't be my first or second choice for a sabian pack. Feel kind of unnecessary, not taking anything to a higher place musically
The cymbal packs for the Stratus line are overpriced. Who's going to drop over $900 on these when you can get the AAX or A Customs for the same price?
I dunno, someone who prefers them to aax & a customs? You said this as if they're all the same cymbals.
