Keratopigmenation is a novel procedure that permanently changes the color of the eye by means of creating an intracorneal tunnel with the aid of a femtosecond laser and inserting a special pigment in front of the natural pigment of the eye.
This procedure doesn’t involve the opening of the eye and therefore avoids intraocular complications like hemorrhages, infection, retinal detachment, and glaucoma.
Automated with the highest precision laser technology, the procedure is performed under topical anesthesia with eye anesthetic drops and is not painful.

What? It mimics natural colors. It shaves off the melanin in your eye, changing the color like you were born with blue eye genetics. It looks very real.

@@happymolecule8894 No way. The natural iris has a natural design that no contact can mimic. This looks like a FLAT color, thus, making it FAKE-looking. Colored contacts themselves deteriorate because of the pigmentation. Putting a tattoo-like substance in your eyes will cause you to eventually go blind. Research the ppl who had to leave the country to do this, and now this doctor has an office in NY. Unbelievable how ppl still fall for this kind of fakeness.

I'm going to call them on Monday because I want to find out about this but there's no way that I would only put a single color in my eye cuz I color has different dimensions and you need some green. You need some browns to make it look natural so I just want to find out if they can do that and that will be how I make a decision if I'll get this procedure or not

Can your pupils still dialate the same?
No. They can’t place pigment over too much of the pupil area to allow for enough room for the pupils to dilate otherwise it would obstruct vision. They have the same coverage as colored contacts.

Thats not true because this is a fairly new procedure as far as offering it to the public so long term results have not been established yet... i do know that the people that have had it done have said that the color fades over time and becomes less intense. Which is why they offer touch ups to bring the color to its original intensity.
