I and no problem downloading and opening the advanced apk tool nor did I have trouble with the dnspy, but the line of code wasn't there. It stopped at the yellow text at the very top and none of that chat and pets and stats and character names and designs showed up. None of the code that makes the GAME. I don't know how to open all the code to the game and have wasted about 2-3 hours trying. Help?...

So, I've had this issue in creating mods for both WO and DO. For some reason, even though I do every step correctly and get the mod on my device, it never seems to actually register in the APK that I edited it. When I open it in DNSpy, it shows up just fine. However, when I run the APK, none of the changes have registered and it's as if I haven't edited it at all. Any ideas?
The one thing I can think of is you're adding the apk that you extracted as appose to the one you actually edited. When you recompile your apk with the apk tool, the new apk will be placed in the 4-done folder which is the one you want on your device
The files were all in the 4-Done folder, so I'm really not sure what the problem is. I noticed one of my changes had been applied when using the APK (the message asking if you wanted to delete your dinosaur), but nothing that I actually wanted (the name and some other features). I'll play with it some more and, if nothing works, I'll just stick to pubic mods.
Ok the only other thing I can think of is if you are applying it correctly. Meaning if you're trying to have a secret name There's a specific spot you input the name as well as having to use quotes and commas in specific spots. It can be very confusing but if at all possible for you, take a screenshot of what you're trying to change in dnspy, save and upload the image to imgur.com/ and post the link to the image in my comments and I'll take a look ok?
The advanced APk tool I see like on ur mods it only says rainbow mod but no apk and it worked so I did the same thing with a mod and it says it is not named correctly also when I put example.. ZebraMod.apk it works but it will say after type y it says complete yes and success no... also for dnSpy it says that it's like the wrong version and a error thingy pops up do you know what's wrong can you please reply.? I really wanna make a mod ._. So I don't bug others to help me because I'm not a person like that I wanna do it my own way. Thanks! :D
You can only do small things on a phone (like editing the game's name, image, etc...) but what the mobile mods lack is the ability to edit dll files which is why you need apk tool
The file is called Chatparticipant find where the name of the pets is (should be anibus or something) right click it and click edit IL instruction That's where you change the pet name

I got it to work, thankfully. I still don't know a lot of the codes (the more trivial ones), but I'll get better with time, hopefully. :)
