Ok so how the parasites mode works is that they get more powerful and plentier the more time passes in the world , so your lost cities dimension should have probably been 10x harder , but since your mod was broken they werent evolving. Also i have no ideea why there are parasites in your overworld but you should start panicking now and fix it as soon as possible cause once they evolve enough theyre gonna start breaking blocks and oneshotting you and youre probably gonna lose your whole base :))
I know its 7 months later, but the reason theres parasites in his overworld might be bcs he went back while he had the call of the hive effect(and he prob passed it to mobs)
An extremely helpful tip with the Lost Cities and Flight Potions is this little thing called Wine, it can increase the duration of potion effects by up to a minute per bottle, thus allowing you to get more mileage out of one potion. This also goes from Wildberry Wine which increases the level of a potion buff by 1 up until you hit level 4. It take a long time to get the quality up to 1.0 but it’s worth it. And yes, it works with Battle Burritos and God Apples.

Me and my partner know this all too well because our world got overrun and the mobs ended up killing all our pets in one hits :')
Here's the reason why silver armor is better in the lost cities Silver armor has the ability to nullify most negative effects including "Call of the hive" which increases the spawn rate of parasites.
4:20 That is a feature, it’s called local difficulty. In vanilla all it does is increase the chance of zombies and skeletons spawning with armor and weapons, and spiders to spawn with potion effects, but in RL it makes everything deal more base damage and have more defense over time.
12:37 that's the remains of an assimilated mob (normal mobs that are infected by the parasites), if you stand near these things you'll get the call of the hive effect and this effect will randomly spawn parasites around you and also when you stand near other mobs, you'll spread the effect around too. This effect along with fear, viral, vulnerability, and corrosion is the main reason why people prefer a set of silver armor with full advanced protection 4, advanced mending and unbreaking 4 because silver armor grants immunity to all of these debuffs. You're in the late game so I would suggest trying to get an ankh shield, ring of resistance and a shield of honor for the ultimate protection when entering the lost cities. If you love your dragon armor, you'll need to find an antidote vessel, which will weaken the debuffs that I talked about above but the antidote vessel can only be found from mimics.
The mobs getting stronger is a Minecraft mechanic called local difficulty the longer it in there for the stronger and tankier the mobs get and the less damage u do
Rl craft also has mob scaling so the longer the world exists the harder everything becomes. Meaning at some point you prolly could end up having your mount get one shot by a zombie

These creatures get HELLA strong as they infect your world, also they can become to immune to some damage, but fire/damage from lava is known to hurt them a lot. I fr recommend you do a little research on these guys, maybe watch a few vids from the "Troubled boys", they've been playing the parasites mod for quite a bit!! But fr though, I love your videos bro!!!❤❤❤
Cant wait for him to somehow get the sentient scythe without any outside game progression. It seems that u have reset the scape and run parasites from how it was set up by the devs. Good luck brudda cuz the config only made it easier.
I recommend you analyze some of Griipi's videos. They're an insane RLcraft gamer, and they've made several videos on things that are useful in the lost city, such as wine, silver armor and lots of potions
Wait but does that work with the familiar fauna Pixies? I know it works for the ice and fire pixies. And you can catch the familiar fauna pixies in bug habitats but I think that’s only for decor.
The thing that keeps on glitching out is called an assimilated enderman. Also you should kill any parasites you find bc they will start infecting mobs and those mobs will infect other mobs, etc.
yo, quick tip, the thing you passed up from the nether that you said "looked pretty". Those were nether reeds, and are functionally similar to sugar cane in terms of farming, but can be used to craft tools on par with netherite, so next video you should prolly go get those when you get a chance, if only to upgrade your tools.
you can bind a key (keyboard or mouse) to the chest to sort it and it might make it faster to loot you could also press the sort button on the top right in the chest and you could config the body on your right to make it easier to see it works for me also you could get undying on all your baubles to max hearts and spend xp getting like x6 attack speed or x8 attack speed and attack speed for nunchucks is really good

I honestly gave up trying to farm for the OP scythe that you get from their parts. Had full enchanted dragon armour, and it all broke in a few minutes. I kept dying over and over because they somehow manage to always aim for the head. Even the little crab parasites could kill you if you're not careful. And don't get me started on the status effect they get if they're empowered.
Mobs might be getting stronger because of local difficulty and RL craft might make mobs stronger based on that (local difficulty :the longer you are in an area the more it goes up)
yo btw get warp scrolls literally best teleporting item in the game you can use it to go to any waypoint even get out of the nether or end with zero xp cost its insane
I'm watching it 5 months later. To survive in lost cities for 3 seconds, I had to get full golem armor with adv prot 4 and all the enchants + constant battle burito ☠

I don't know if you knew this but the older your Rl craft world is the stronger the mobs become because the game thinks you're growing stronger with the mobs so good luck with that have fun with the dragons know that you know

you should start collecting the drops from the lost cities mobs, you can use them to craft some pretty cool weapons
And other things(in case they start spreading in the overworld you can craft some pretty usefull stuff)

You can go on the cowards route like me, use a fairy ring, invisibility potion and wine and sneak around looting chests

I personally just get an invis pot, a ballon, and some stuff for luck, and then go grab a drag ring quickly whenever I get the materials

Not sure if you know this, but you can enchant an enchanted medkit with unbreaking III and mending. Completely broken, love it

@RodTricked you should go to urs skills-agility and get the dodge skill but u need to bind it in controls(it gives u a jump/boost forward)
You can turn off the damage shake in assessability settings

Dude those ancient books are op ash they go beyond the max enchant like proc 4 can be turned to proc 5 stuff like that
You should use lightning arrows to fight parasites, it deals extra damage to them
