    Great info jammed into a short video and the lack of bulldust is quite refreshing.

    Great video, and you're dead on the money too.
    I target similar fringe areas as the ones you're highlighting here and have had good success doing so. I find that if you have three things;
    1. Farmland adjacent to the bush that's good for grazing.
    2. Gully systems nearby with dense stuff to bed up in.
    3. Water sources (eg. a creek running down one of the gullies)
    There will invariably be deer there.
    Being camouflaged up and static in one of those systems from mid afternoon to last light can yield great success. In fact from my experience much more consistent success than traditional spot and stalk hunting.

      Thanks so much for sharing your comments mate, that's awesome you've had similar experiences and success like that
      I'm slowly coming more and more around to preferring exactly what you said, just tucking yourself into a little gully in a place like that from mid afternoon to last light and letting them come to you.
      It can be really fun doing the morning stalk, but yeah I think overall I've got more deer just waiting and letting them come to me.
      They're so sneaky haha very hard to sneak up on them 😅

      @NaturewithJared cheers.
      The only flaw in this strategy is you end up butchering and packing out meat in the dark 😂

      Haha absolutely 😅 it's not so bad if you're close to the car, but butchering and packing out a long way in the dark can be interesting!

    Great video, like your format, appreciation of nature and respect for the deer. Liked you other videos on how to track. Would love to see other deer tracking and not necessarily you favourite spots, but parks you recommend or even reviews of state parks would be cool for different deer etc.

      Mate, thank you so much for your comments and feedback, it's really helpful to hear 😊 I'll see if I can make a video like that for you for sure, I think lots of people would appreciate something like that. And yeah just thank you for the encouragement. Really appreciated 🙏😊

      They do taste amazing, and so good for you too! But yeah they're beautiful, I think so long as it's humane hunting go for it 😊
