Please do a review on this down the line... I've heard the colored leca doesn't wick water as well as the regular. I'd really love to know your thoughts after using!
@@prettyinplants9580 It would be awesome if we could get an update video now that it has been 1+ year... but until that time comes, how about a quick yay or nay overall?
@@catherinesaulnier5448 Could you please share the link where you order your colored leca? I'm having trouble finding a good one, the Amazon one I tried killed everything - twice. Thanks!
I went to their website and I cant find where to buy it!!! I want them so bad haha. this would be PERFECT for my clear glass containers. I have never heard of colored leca. So jealous you got this kit.
Many semi hydro peeps claim colored LECA isn't so great because it doesn't wick water very well and some brands and/or colors also bleed dye even after soaking and rinsing.
We do get these in Canada...different brand..they are either small sizes for orchids..or butckets full with different sizes...they have a few more different colors as well...I use the mixed size ones...love the light grey
I have a camouflage Dieffenbachia in Leca and it's doing great! It seems to like it more on the damp side than dry and I also add Superthrive to the water. But definitely would recommend.
No not yet but as soon as I watch your video, I googled and found it at Canadian Tire and I ordered it... I will receive it tomorrow ...yay!!! So so happy I will send you pics!!!🥰🤩😘😘😘
I started and have continued with brockytony coloured leca. I don’t find any difference between painted and “unpainted”. If you look at the so called unpainted it is in fact painted. It’s not “brown/red” it’s actually really dark inside.
If you break a natural rock it's dark inside too. That doesn't mean the natural coloured ones are also painted. Otherwise there'd be inconsistency in colour with different brands.
Was just thinking someone should make colored leca the other day! awesome
❤️🎉❤️🎉❤️🎉

Has anyone done a Dieffenbachia plant in Leca? How did it go?

@@prettyinplants9580 Let us know if you find it is different than your original leca.

And to further confirm, brokcytony also have the unpainted natural noted on their site.
Put a link to their website in the description so people can check them out! haha
