When the little boy pushed the button to call an official because the man wouldn’t move his piece back, the man twice pushed the button off. Then when the boy wins, it looks like he threatens the boy. Threats and cheating should have banning consequences.
The old man took out his frustration on a child with better manners than he has. Poor kid really twisted the knife when he told Mr. Baseball cap that the rule is to reset the board. I just love this little boy. ❤️ ❤❤

I finally figured it out what happened. At first, efimov made an 1)illegal move. That's ok. It isn't counted. 2) then he picked up his queen so he had to move it 3) but instead, he returned it and moved his king. 4) then the boy called the arbitter 5) then that part of the video was cut out 6) then the arbitter obviously agreed that the man had to continue the game with a queen move, and that is what the position was when the game was resumed. 7) queens were then exchanged, not to efimovs liking, as it gave the boy a winning endgame. BUT it shiuldn't have needed an arbitter to police it!
I actually modify what i think might have happened in one detail, that efimov himself might have given in to the boy after saying "what's your problem, boy?", and "you don't need the arbitter for this, we can sort it out ourselves"!

i dont understand what they are speaking. it seems the boy wanted him to say something in particular because in the middle of the game the man offered a handshake i assume for a draw but the boy shook his head. so in the end i think he was making sure it was a handshake for defeat, not a draw or something. i think the boy is just trying to make the actions clear so he doesn't get tricked, since the man is being shady.
People who act as sore losers don't seem to realise that it is _when you become upset and moody over a loss_ that it becomes embarrassing - there is nothing embarrassing about simply losing a game, as long as you remain respectful. Heck, you could even smile and compliment the winner, if you want to seem extra professional.

He could do that, but it doesn't appear to give him any advantage, and chess players generally want to keep their queen as long as possible. But some players like to trade the queens when they get the chance, just because this makes the game feel less threatening.
