- Well, I'm actually playing the first Yakuza for the first time and so it happened no one tried to upload the bosses, at least, not the dubbed version so, here we are. Expect more from me until I get to collect all bosses.

People complain about the swearing but it's pretty accurate for two people arguing in front of a club at night.
Yeah the swearing may have been needless, especially since there wasn't this many in the OG, but to say that this dialogue is unrealistic is eh.

Playing Kiwami and getting to this scene was hilarious, because the camera pans are so jarring with gen 8 graphics and you can just *tell* it is just a PS2 cutscene
actually its 7th generation graphics becuase Kiwami was made for the PS3 and the PS4 version is just a port
@@satyamSaha 5, Ishin, 0 and Kiwami all use the same engine and aside from 5, all came out at the end of the PS3's lifespan and were developed for PS4 with the intent of being able to run on the PS3, actually.
Ishin was the first of them to be released, after all, and it was PS4 exclusive. While it may be an upgraded engine of what was used for 3, 4 and dead souls, you can actually immediately tell the difference in fidelity was made in prep of the next console.

Yeah, doing a heat action on an enemy when your health is low and you can pummel them on the floor is one of the most satisfying moves in the entire game because it sounds so (no pun intended) punchy and loud

Playing a PlayStation demo disk with Yakuza on it, I had only ever heard that scene in the Japanese dub. To think had I gotten a PS2 copy back in the day, there's no way anyone in my house wouldn't have heard the f-bombs all over and wondered just what I was playing.

Yakuza’s English dub had great some names in the voice acting industry behind it but had some questionable performances and line deliveries, but Dub Yuya was fucking god tier.
