I also hate the summer! I always have. lol I hate going to the lake, or a water park, etc. Sometimes I can tolerate going to the beach, but again if it to hot, I won't stay. I swear I am allergic to the sun. Even as a child, at recess, I would just sit in shade to get away from the sun. I love Vanderspek! I have several pocket size ready to ship ones, I have one custom with me, and another one on the way. I will probably get another one with the JL brown leather. I have been really wanting that leather. Take care!
So sorry to hear the lost of your father in law.i get it.lost my mom in 2020 and my dad in 21(same month 2 days apart.and this was 4 days after my surgery which was on my anniversary...than 2 months after my dad's death,we lost my mother in law at the end of january.plus it was close to our bdays.both of us were born in janurary.its Been very hard and that was on top of nearly loosing my life,my sons life to covid,then my brother was in the hospital to a collapse lung. It's so hard even everything happens all at once.but we are strong and we will get thru it all,right?I will say a prayer for peace in all our hearts...take care.
Absolutely love everything about this flip through. JL Brown is amazing and both the films in the acetate you have are very inspiring I need to go and get some of those because I don't take up much ring space yet they make the planner so lush. So sorry you had a rough month. Glad that you're still finding comfort in your planner and inspiring us
Wait! Maybe I missed it but is this JL Brown with JL Brown stitching or undyed stitching? This is absolutely gorgeous beautiful and stunning. I LOVE the leather you received. It is perfect! I’m saving up to get a vds in these same colors.
Just found you and all of your wonderful links. Your planner setups are gorgeous! What do you use to print your vellum/acetate inserts? Any special brand that prints well?
I've just checked my Bubblegum A5 Appunto and it's a good 5mm further in than on my other Appuntos. It only arrived on Thurs last week, but I'd already found it odd that it felt tighter and tougher to close around the inserts that comfortably fit my other A5s. I'm glad you pointed this out, I thought I was going a bit crazy or that the Croc just had to 'loosen up'. I'm even more disappointed to hear that Gillio are aware of this and choosing not to disclose it to customers or take it up with the artisans to fix the error. I was going to buy another Appunto if they're still in stock after I get paid this month, but I need to be able to stuff comfortably - if this is common to all new models, I'm out. :(
Great set up! I’m bummed to hear about the Gillio poppers. I thought that was just one batch of Appuntos or something but I guess not. I’m a stuffer so that won’t work for me. I really need a JL brown from VDS. Is the inside customized at all or is that the usual TM layout?
Hi Tracey! The inside is not customized at all. Its just as you would order it. I got 32cm laid flat. Squared corners, big pack pocket and chunky clasp.

Yes! Its on a lot of planners. And its awful. Makes it completely unusable for me
