@@StevenCollins-u4m thank you so much! It really was.. yes! I’m thinking garlic over the winter and maybe shallots 🧅🧄 then hopefully by February, the rest of the plot is finished and I can begin planting for a bountiful summer/harvest 🎉
@@libbybrenna Garlic is a great idea Libby - that's been one of my biggest successes 🙂. I tried a softneck variety and a hardneck variety; the hardneck was the best - nice big cloves.
Looking Good Sweet! Get some winter stuff planted in them. Ask around allotment ask others if they have any spare over winter brassica small plants. Event plant up some garlic!
@@libbybrenna Hey Sweet. You could see if any young cabbage plants (Durham Early - Greyhound) around anywhere and if you drink bottled water for protection we cut bottom of bottles off 5 litre bottles then recycle use as mini greenhouse to keep a cold winds off as they develop bit protected if planted late brassicas. Remember keep tops off too. You could try sow broad beans indoors bit late but bring on plants, Onion sets under a bit of protection may be. Get some blue water pipe not to long and cover with plastic. They do 25mm clips you can buy to clip keep plastic on pipe. Happy to advise. Hope I not sound bossy Sweet. Happy gardening. Have you sorted compost bays out LOL?
