I'm still new to this game, but this was my best one so far. I got 16531. Round 1 looked like UK to me. I didn't know the Belgium plate, but that's helpful to learn. UK is close enough to Belgium that I still got 3578. Round 2 I just used the sun and vibes and guessed New Zealand. I guessed the south island, and got 3536. Round 3 I recognized the octagonal pole as Mexico and just went Mexico City for 4749 Round 4 Another just vibes guess, and I did get Canada, but I went West instead of East and only got 939 Round 5 The blue strip was hard for me to see, and I didn't know about the outer yellow lines, so I went UK for 3729

as a person from newfoundland here are some tips for rural areas. always going to be boggy on the sides of the roads, if it isnt there will be a thick evergreen forest lots of cracks on the roads landscape in non wooded areas are kind of a faded yellow usually never any painted outer road lines and in some cases there isnt even a center line. if you ever see a walmart its one of st johns, bay roberts, clarenvill, gander, or corner brook and there are no railways anywhere on the island! hopefully that helps

you'll only see train tracks from truro, nova scotia and west. newfoundland and upper nova scotia don't have many at all. ontario/quebec have more than anywhere else
Yesterday, you mentioned signs and reading signage better. On the Canada location, there is a box near the tracks that says “CN” on it. That’s the Canadian National railway, and the namesake for the CN Tower in Toronto that most people know about.
while this CN sign isn't particularly helpful for region guessing because CN spans across Canada, signs like this are somewhat helpful for region guessing in the US, such as CSX rail lines are mostly in the Southeast, and Norfolk southern is mostly in the Northeast (some exceptions though)

Round 2 - 1096 points, Guessed Melbourne, Australia because of the left-side driving - very nice looking place though! Round 3 - 3735 points, Spanish language, went north-west of Mexico City, not bad. Round 4 - 179 points, This one threw me off completely. I was between NE USA and Finland - ended up going Finland to my own demise. Round 5 - 2259 points, I knew I’d seen the road lines before but couldn’t remember for the life of me where. Ended up going Switzerland as a random guess. Total: 11,789 points - Not great, only guessed one country right but I have a few more things remembered now.
Not that this would have helped you find Ireland... But Switzerland has a distincly low camera angle on the google maps coverage. Japan is the only other country that shares this. Very useful for identifying Switzerland amongst other European countries!
Im slowly improving and yesterday I beat you cos you did a bad guess but today you beat me by about 1000. With Canada I guessed North east of the actual location and only got 2k points
I got under 10k cause i'm mediocre but we'll take those and learn from the massive mistakes. Thanks for the tips on the red tinted belgian plates and yellow irish dashed lines. Hope you keep these videos going!

A bunch of spruce trees, an empty road and a railway crossing..... that sure narrowed it down to virtually anywhere in Canada.

For Belgium: if you see slated roofs it's in the south usually.
If it feels more France go south, if it feels more Dutch, go north
